Every element of our experience was wonderful, relaxing and had clearly been thought about. It was a good value for money package we felt for what we got.

The facilities were plentiful, clean, well kept and of a high standard. They have an indoor pool with hydro pool (with jets) and hot stone beds to lay on - with indoor steam room. They have an outdoor pool next to a sauna with plenty of loungers and they bring drinks out to you. There’s a sleep room with a fire pit, blankets and low lighting - perfect to relax in after treatments. There’s a more like cafe vibe lounging area with some yummy cakes on offer. The private pool is a great idea offering 30 min slots and a bell so someone can come to bring you drinks. It’s hotter than the other pools and lights up nicely at night time.

The restaurant is decorated really nicely, the food was of a great standard (if a little on the small side at dinner). The breakfast was great with many options and you could choose more than one menu choice!

The staff everywhere in the spa were all lovely, warm, friendly and approachable - nothing was too much trouble.

The treatments were great - 50 min and 25 min in same package is really rare now adays but so well packaged at the price point.

The bedroom was quite basic but spacious, nice finish and good amenities.

Overall, would definitely recommend this spa to anyone looking for everything in one place!

Visited The Venue at Moddershall for A Taste Of Staffordshire tasting experience. This was such a lovely evening that showcased the best of Moddershall Oaks as well as Staffordshire cuisine. Congratulations to Lorna the Events Manager for arranging such a great evening. Thanks to the chefs and waiting staff for their creations and service, best oatcakes I’ve ever tasted. Thanks to Suzy for pre and post dinner drinks in the Balcony Bar and for the fantastic drinks which complimented the meal throughout, you are so good and enthusiastic at your job. We were made to feel so welcome by Amdad and the team. Literally cannot say thank you enough, proud to live in Staffordshire and have such a great venue in our doorstep. Can’t wait to visit this idyllic setting again.

This was my first spa experience and I absolutely LOVED it. My girlfriend and I went for the Misty Morning choice and with the lunch thrown in, it is brilliant value. The facilities are lush, and the massage was so relaxing. Would love to go again!

I came here for a spa break and a nights stay in the hotel along with food in the evening. There is plenty to do at the hotel with the spa, the gym, the tennis courts and the woodland walk you’ll never be bored. The gym is nice and modern with a nice vegan cafe inside. The rooms in the hotel were spacious and clean. In the restaurant there are lots of options to choose from, and their pork loin roast dinner was delicious. The same applies for breakfast as there’s lots of delightful options to choose from. The spa is lovely and clean with plenty of things to help unwind and relax. They offer treatments at reasonable prices, and I would recommend the Indian head massage as a perfect option to relax.

The venue is simply stunning, I would go back for food, spa and stay. But I could not recommend the afternoon tea, it was poor. A relative had bought 3 of our party gift vouchers for Christmas so we decided to go together. We have all visited various high end afternoon teas and those offered in small tea shops. This was definitely the worse by far, as some of the sandwiches were stale. There was no offer of top ups, the sweet offering was 4 types of oversized cake. Nothing refreshing or a different texture. We were given 1 small jam pot between 3 people We had to ask the server to advise us of the sweets. The food served to those eating lunch looked stunning, hence I'd come back to try that menu. People book an Afternoon tea for the experience and the staff (including the kitchen) don't seem to acknowledge that. We are disappointed for the relative that bought the vouchers that they had wasted their money. Hopefully they read this and address the issues, the venue is 5 Star, the afternoon tea (which can be profitable for them) should be of the same standard.

Great spa and beautiful location. Staff was lovely and very helpful. Lorraine which I had back and facial massage with was amazing, couldn’t be more relaxed. Lunch in the restaurant was delicious and lots of variety to choose. We had a such a great time in Moddershall Oaks Spa. Highly recommend

My husband and I stayed for a mid week overnight stay. We have been once before and can't fault it. The spa facilities are just right, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing. The drinks menu is lovely. The rooms are spacious, and the bed is really comfortable. We will definitely be returning.

Been 4 times now, it's one of those places that once you've been it sets the bar so high nothing else compares. Nice to be away from it all, great service, amazing food while sitting in your robes and yet to have a treatment I wouldn't recommend. The outdoor pool with service is by far my favourite spot to spend hours in.
