Really lovely rooms, stylish, comfy bed, smart bathroom and some lovely touches with a nespresso coffee machine, complimentary breakfast snack bag and bottled water provided. Right in the square of lovely Lytham so smart bars, shops and eateries right on the doorstep. The only downsides are that the location in the square meant that the area was quite noisy until around 1am, and the hotel is completely “self serve” we didn’t see a single staff member all weekend, not even a hello on arrival. All in all though a smart choice in a very convenient location, we had a nice stay.

Disappointing hotel and response to issues raised. Allocated room 19, ground floor near a smelly toilet. Room was freezing! Advised reception who said they would review thermostat. Tried to use the shower but the thermostatic valve was broken and the water was scalding. Again told reception on our way out into Lytham who advised someone would look at it - no offer of alternative room or showering facilities. Returned at approx 9.30pm to no bottled water in the hall to which a helpful man fetched us some. Shower hadn’t been fixed, heating again was was off. Again no heating in the morning and shower still scalding. Asked to speak to a manager and at that point we were offered alternative shower facilities but we’d made do and advised we were leaving after breakfast. On check out asked again to speak to a manager but was told no one was available until Tuesday. Was advised someone would address our concerns and be in touch on Tuesday. Needless to say there was no contact made and email outlining our disappointment was not responded to. Was back in Lytham last night staying at the Glendower (which is simply Fantastic all round) so popped in to see if we could speak to a manager and have our concerns addressed. Again only a receptionist was present who could not help. A lady was in reception at the same time and overheard our concerns who then said her room was freezing and was about to complain. We left again without a resolve but today received an email which didn’t address our concerns advising the shower thermostat was set at 30 degrees - which would be the opposite of hot and too cold! No mention of the central heating. We were also told and I quote ‘NOT’ (underlined!) to drop in to speak to staff to further complain.||||All in all a very disappointing £140 stay in a budget hotel run by, well who knows, but certainly not people equipped to respond to genuine issues. Continental breakfast was about the only thing we could commend but even that for the money is poor.

Central location, clean, spacious and comfy rooms, tastefully quirky decor. Continental breakfast in a bag hung each morning outside your door on a hook. Arrived quite late but getting the swipe cards was easy from a secure box just by the door. Great stay.

This is a gem of a hotel right in the centre of Lytham, we stayed again for 2 nights and the room was spotlessly clean with all the facilities you could wish for even including an umbrella if it started to rain. Parking is on the sea front only 200 mtrs away and is only £3.50 for 24 hrs. You are right in the middle of all the great restaurants and bars.|Highly recommended||Gary n Jo

The place was recommended by a friend living locally and very pleased he did . We went for the cheaper room rate but it ticked all our needs . The Room Manager was very friendly and efficient and she is a credit to you . By chance the battery on our thermostat had failed so she quickly replaced the same . We picked a very cold week to stay but the room was very snug . Parking nearby was no problem and you will never starve with a plethora of bars and restaurants nearby . Light breakfast also worked well . We will be back in the summer to get some long walks in

Perfectly located in the centre of Lytham Checking in is relatively easy I struggled with the steep stairs but it was worth the climb The room was spacious and immaculately clean There was a frosted window so no view but gave us privacy |We stayed in room 209 and I did have a disturbed sleep due to a loud continuous noise which sounded like a boiler |The bed was comfy and the bathroom clean although the shower head does need some attention as it’s not functioning properly |Assistance is only a phone call away and the person was very helpful We did have issues with some vouchers we had bought via mode for meals in restaurants close by but the restaurants themselves were very accommodating and sorted it out |Great hotel apart from a few niggles

Only OK if you like nightclubs or want to be discreet. Remote staff, not on site, rudely put phone down on me. Stairs to all rooms. Can't park outside, there is a taxi rank right outside though if you prefer taxis until 3am. Nightclub next door, people in street and getting food from nearby take aways until 2am. Very noisy. None of this was mentioned when I booked. Not what I expected from Lytham. I've lived and stayed many times in nearby St Anne’s on Sea and can get a self catering apartment there for same prices. Breakfast is a brown bag of food hung outside your door. I was looking forward to a relaxing night away twixmas as I'm a Nurse. When I tried to complain to management they said it's what expect from central location, maybe in Blackpool but not Lytham!
The management have made me out to be a liar. I'm Senior nhs staff. My call is logged as 10 minutes when I was constantly interrupted and the phone put down on me.
