We booked on the strength of the reviews, we were a little disappointed when we found it wasn't quite as described. The Reception doubled up with The Bar (no draught beers) or Bacardi and a seating area. Very small hotel, which really is a B&B. The breakfasts as advertised was continental although there was a choice, the meat & cheese needed something like 🍍, melon or 🍅 otherwise it was a little dry. The staff were thin on the ground, maybe 1 or 2 at the most, but were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was modern and nice. Also, little touches like a golfing brolly should you need one. Definitely room for improvement in little ways. Couldn't give it a 4 star because, in all honesty, it's a bed & breakfast establishment....

My stay was for business and unfortunately I arrived in the dark so didn't get to see the sea, however the hotel is in a good location on the seafront. Easy to find and with parking outside. My room was comfortable and clean with tea making facilities and very welcomed biscuits!|A good night sleep in a comfy bed and a good range of breakfast goodies available. Lovely service on arrival and at breakfast. A shame I was only staying one night.

Enjoyed 4 nights at Mode. Great place, great location, welcoming staff and comfortable rooms. I booked this hotel for 4 people. Only negative was that the 3 other people I was with had their rooms upgraded. But I was not upgraded. Slightly disappointing as I’d booked and paid for it!! They had beautiful sea views. Complementary umbrellas, toweling slipper and luxurious bath robes. Sadly I missed out 😬

Stayed here for one night which was last saturday night . On arrival we had to park on the road outside the hotel which did have ristrictions however we did get a spece in yhe hotel car park on the evening . On arrival we were greated in a very welcoming manor and the hotel looked lovely . We had a yop floor executive room whixh to be honest was just about perfect . Lovely and clean , very comfy bed , coffee , tea and bottled water supplied . Bathroom was spotless . We had a balcony but the weather didnt allow us to really use it . Breakfast was a continental with lots of choice and again great service for pots of tea and coffee . Will stay here again wihout a doubt and be booking direct to take advantage of the free night scheme .

Wonderful views from our room. Good facilities, even had a Nespresso machine in the room. Everything was clean and well presented. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the continental breakfast had a fantastic choice. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be coming back soon.

We stayed two nights in Seaview room comfortable hotel breakfast more than adequate, staff very accommodating. Parking tight only nine spaces for eighteen bedrooms and parking restriction on the road outside. If you find the bedroom cold reception can remotely turn the heating up in your room. We will return

Great little hotel with some surprising touches at this price.

The welcome was great, friendly staff and owner. They had reserved a space for us in their parking.

Very clean, comfortable bed, Tea/Coffee making machine in the room, and great value.

Little touches that go a long way such as dressing-gowns, slippers, and an iron + Ironing board in the room, plus the ultimate touch, an umbrella in every bedroom (WOW).

Price included continental breakfast too.

Stayed for four nights 🌙 Stayed here for four nights room was fine but unfortunately it was facing the back no view whatsoever just parked vans and side of buildings and garages. |We asked to be moved to the front with a sea view but we were declined the reason being we hadn't booked the rooms with the hotel directly but with booking. Com people who were staying only one night were given preference as they had booked directly with the hotel which we found very strange as our stay was a longer one and therefore we would have spent more money in the establishment .also the heating failed on the first night in our room but to be fair it was rectified after one night 🌙 The parking to be honest wasn't the best 🙃
