Very beautiful and spacious reminds me of a national trust place history and well maintained. Loads of rooms at least 10 and each room is unique and has character place was very clean. The grounds has cool water swimming, hot tub and pizza oven. Close to the main town lanes a quite narrow but only residents live here so not too bad. Lovely walk up the track to the left as you leave the drive for the house. Went here for a hen do. Self catering

We had a lovely weekend at Model Farm for a Hen Do, the house and gardens are beautiful. Comfy beds, very well equipped and the added extras of the hot tub and swimming pond. Would highly recommend and hope to come back and stay again.

Just returned from model Farm celebrating my fortieth birthday. We had the best time.
We braved it in the swimming pond. Relaxed in the woodfired hot tub and enjoyed walking around the wooded gardens.
The rooms were lovely and plenty of facilities.
Already planning our next visit.

A great experience, its isolation made it perfect for a family event where everyone was able to reconnect and enjoy each other's company. Loads of facilities and games for all the family to enjoy.

We rented out Model Farm for a few days for our intimate ceremonial wedding and it was an absolute dream. The gardens were so beautiful and the house was well-maintained and comfortable for our guests. The pizza oven, hot tub, swimming pond, and available garden games made the place so entertaining and fun. Great walks nearby, grocery stores and pubs/restaurants are easy to get to. The place is well-stocked with soap, dishwasher tablets, cookware/bakeware, pantry basics (really took advantage of the ice machine and large water boiler). So, so grateful we found Model Farm! Dave was so responsive as we had lots of little questions come up as we planned our tiny wedding and there were areas of the house under construction when we booked it. The new kitchen and orangery/event space were just perfect for what we needed and would be lovely for so many kinds of celebrations. It's the perfect place for a large group (great for adults, kids, and dogs!), especially in the warm months, but we visited in December and it looked so cozy. Such a special place. Hope we can visit again someday. Thanks so much for everything!!

We stayed here for a weekend this May for a 40th birthday celebration, with family and friends. I feel like 5 stars isn't enough! The house is so spacious. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, with little touches like dishwasher tablets, clothes etc supplied. The house was spotlessly clean, the beds were super comfy and everyone commented on how great the showers were.
The house is just the beginning, the garden is outstanding ( we were lucky, with beautiful weather)!! The swimming pond is stunning, there is also a hot tub, pizza oven and a large barbecue. Great place for kids, adults, dogs. It was so relaxing.

If you are looking for somewhere for a large group, I highly recommend!

We spent New Year at Model Farm as a group of 18 friends and family. It was a wonderful experience from refreshing dips in the ‘swimming pond’, firing up the pizza oven and the hot tub, countryside walks to local pubs, as well as relaxing in the gorgeous glass roofed Orangery. The owner Dave is a gem, quick to reply to messages and on hand to give advice when needed. Highly recommended.
