Amazing place to stay!! Rebecca was lovely and very attentive! A drink on arrival and a stunning breakfast basket with so much variety to choose from. Snacks and biscuits in the room and plenty of milk, tea, coffee, water and cans of pop. Bathroom well stocked also with everything you would need. We will most definitely be returning. Thanks once a gain for a fabulous stay in one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in.

A perfect B&B in a lovely village. Rebecca was a lovely host and couldn't do enough from the very welcome drink on arrival (taken a little later) to the more than generous breakfast selection. Quality throughout. The room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. The pub down the road does an excellent dinner too. Would highly recommend Montpellier House and would stay again next time we're in the area.

This is the perfect BandB for couples who appreciate a lovely welcoming host, fantastic |, imaginative decor, a wonderfully comfy night's sleep in pristine, top quality bedding and plenty of peace and quiet. The glasses of wine were most unexpected, but delightful. The breakfast basket delivered to our door contained everything one could wish for....in very generous portions and the copious snacks left in the kitchen area were amazing. The best B and B ever!! I was hoping to write a unique review of this 5* B&B but I discovered that it's all been said!|So what I can say is that we agree 100% with all the other reviews.|We will be returning so that we can further explore this part of England which has so much to see and offer.|However this had better be soon as we gathered that Rebecca is planning to stop the B&B and turn her amazing house back into one unit.|So if you're planning to go, go soon. |Oh and the gift of the chocolate drops was a lovely touch.|What a wonderful host.

I spent a fabulous night at Montpelier House. My sister in law and I received the warmest welcome from Rebecca who showed us to our fabulous rooms with super king sized beds, sumptuous bedding and pillows. Our rooms were spotlessly clean, warm and cosy. I resisted the chocolate cookies on offer in my room, but couldn't resist the hot chocolate and bar of chocolate! Rebecca was a superb host and after a very warm welcome she returned with a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. In the morning our breakfast was delivered in a basket with generous portions of fruit, yoghurt and granola, but the icing on the cake for me were the warm almond croissants. B&B at its best - thank you Rebecca.

My husband has been staying here for weeks at a time for a number of years. He says it's a home away from home run by a great host who goes the extra mile. Everything you'd need and a really welcoming place to arrive at. Very clean and cosy. He couldn't recommend it more highly.

Great and really friendly communication before our visit was matched by such a warm and friendly welcome by Rebecca. The room was really well decorated and furnished with a large bathroom and great kitchenette area. Breakfast choices countless and the quality of products amazing!! Rebecca made us feel as if we mattered…..thank you. We’d thoroughly recommend Montpellier House and will definitely return ourselves.
