Lovely looking building with a lot of character. Check in was smooth with great staff.|Our first room was a standard room and we were happy enough with it knowing you get what you pay for, but unfortunately my bed had a huge dip in the middle. I would usually live with this but I am awaiting spinal surgery so really couldn’t sleep another night with it so we asked to move or replace mattress. (Also the room was so hot, view was literally a brick wall and there was a loud unit of something mechanical outside) staff were great and upgraded us to a better room with decent beds although all the doors looked beaten up. It had an adjoining door to the next room and our neighbours were very noisy shouty people but the room was so much nicer so we stayed put.|Breakfast staff were excellent, breakfast was reasonable .|We had dinner in the oak room on the first night nice vibe but the food was not good at all. White wine was served warm but staff kindly sorted it quickly when we asked. Unfortunately the food was very poor, we both had the waygu burger which was cold, tough and dry. Pretty dire for £19. We didn’t really feel like we could say anything else after the wine and the room so ate as much as we could and didn’t use the restaurant on the second night. Would not recommend. |The spa was busy and small and needed a refurb. You couldn’t get a seat and it seemed a bit grubby. Staff were all lovely though.

Moore Hall Hotel & Spa|My Girlfriend and I stayed for two nights at this Hotel, and we had a fantastic stay. We purchased the ‘Autumn Escape Package’ which included: Complimentary £30 each towards the cost of the evening meal, breakfast per person, and two bottles of Prosecco. We stayed in the ‘Superior’ suite which was bright, spacious, warm and clean with a nice view of the ‘Gardens’. Included with the room: complimentary condiments, a kettle, Iron & ironing board, an easy to use safety box, and bathroom essentials and not forgetting the all important Television. The bathroom looked slightly dated with vintage-style tiles, but it was spacious & bright, mould-free, underfloor heating making it feel very comfortable. The grounds to the hotel comprised of a wide wooded/garden area, and Golf Course. All the hotel staff we came into contact with were nice, friendly and helpful, we were particularly impressed with the staff in the Dinning room: Jake, Amy and Owen whom were welcoming, very attentive and genuinely nice to us, which added to our fantastic three course meal experience (big respect to the chefs). The breakfast area is small but nicely organized with its buffet area and seating, and as we expected the staff here were also friendly & welcoming. To cap a wonderful stay at the hotel we attended an entertaining evening with an ABBA tribute band, the entertainment took place in the Conference/events room which was big enough to host weddings, etc.

I attended the Country Kitchen with my family. I was really impressed with the efficient, friendly and attentive staff and the food was excellent. The carvery section was very well stocked with a large choice of vegetables and the meat was cooked to perfection. The starters and dessert sections also had a good selection of different choices.

We attended a wedding on Saturday 19th October. Everything about it was wonderful.|We stayed the Friday before too, all fabulous except the food menu, my husband had the burger which wasn't great for almost £20, very basic and dry. It's so odd as the wedding breakfast was beautiful. Just a shame the food menu in the bar wasn't as good.

My husband and I were given a voucher for afternoon tea at Moor Hall Hotel. What a lovely afternoon it was. Delicious sandwiches, quiche, cakes and scones. Amy looked after us incredibly well whilst being attentive but not intrusive. We had a thoroughly lovely time. Thank you.

I recently spent an afternoon at Moor Hall Hotel and Spa, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Upon arrival, my party was warmly greeted at the bar by Leah, who provided excellent service and guided us seamlessly towards our afternoon tea. Once there, Claire and Jessica took care of us with the utmost professionalism and attentiveness, ensuring every detail was perfect. The level of service we received was outstanding, making our visit truly memorable. I highly recommend Moor Hall to anyone seeking a refined and relaxing experience. We look forward to returning soon.

My husband and I were celebrating a special wedding anniversary so booked the Rum and Reggae evening and stay. Which was a fantastic evening and we very much look forward to the next tribute evening (this was our second one).|The reason for my review: I have been battling ill health and along with it being our anniversary was very much looking forward to our evening away. My daughter contacted the hotel and asked if something "extra" could be offered as she felt we could do with something a little special. She tells me she was thinking a bottle of wine in the room maybe and was told by a lovely lady they would see what they could do.|On arrival the desk did say you have an upgrade but to be honest it did not register. On finding our room or should I say suite we were taken aback. It was absolutely beautiful, we were so overwhelmed. This was a perfect tonic for an awful year.|We cannot thank Moor Hall enough for such a lovely generous gesture. What fantastic customer service and will always be remembered. Thank you.

Went to Moor Hall on an Autumn deal, standard twin room, use of spa , robes provided, bottle of prosecco in the room, evening meal in the Oak Restaurant and breakfast the following morning, excellent value. Lovely grounds. Moor Hall has some interesting history to it, well worth a visit.
