My second stay at Moore House in Hastings and another brilliant experience. |Lovely big clean room with really comfortable beds, excellent shower and wonderful breakfast. |The lovely ladies that run this place are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble.| We had a very good supper at Porters next door. |The location of this hotel is excellent and Hastings old town is beautiful, vibrant and quirky!

Moore House is a true gem. Charlotte, Kendall, and Danielle provided exceptional service, making our stay unforgettable. Kendall’s cooking is incredible—every dish was delicious and beautifully presented.

We came from Henley-on-Thames for just one night, but car trouble kept us another. No complaints at all—we were well taken care of. The rooms are stylish, creative, and full of charm.

Hastings is a hidden treasure, and Moore House is the perfect place to experience it. A five-star stay all around!

It took me a while to check in because I arrived after 5PM. Carried my luggage to the front door, telephoned the establishment since nobody answered the door. Then carried my luggage to the bar a few meters down the road, waited ten minutes for four bar guests to be served and then carried my luggage back to the front door of the BnB. The bar tender showed me the breakfast lounge and took me to my room. It was newly renovated, very clean and water and milk was found in the fridge. Sounds from the street could be heard throughout the night, but the following morning the staff made up for the challenges I had faced so far. The breakfast was fantastic and I was lent a charger for my laptop. I left my luggage in the lounge area while going for some errands, and worked there for a couple of hours afterwards. The premises were clean and enjoyable and I would gladly stay at Moore House again.

Very comfortable stay in beautiful building in Hastings Old Town. Staying in the High Street amongst independent retailers added to the ambience of the local environment . The service was warm and attentive and breakfast was delicious. Parking available nearby.

Lovely deluxe guest house right in the middle of Hastings old town. Fantastic hosts who were very accommodating. Highly recommended

Really loved staying at this hotel! The location is perfect for Hastings Old Town. It's a great base to explore the town from and easy to pop back to pick things up or drop your shopping off. I was travelling alone and felt safe the whole time.

I don't drive and this was a good location to explore the town on foot. It's about 15 minutes walk from the station and then once you're at the hotel, you're right by all the nicest stuff.

The room was super clean and I'm really picky about hotels, but was instantly comfortable here, even to walk in the room barefoot. The bathroom was HUGE and the rooms come with everything you need, plenty of towels etc. There's even a little fridge so you can have fresh milk and chilled water in the main room.

The breakfasts were really lovely and the hosts were fab, so that was a great way to start the day. I had both veggie and meat breakfasts during my stay - the veggie breakfast was great and really nice, but the bacon was seriously something else. Very very good.

There was quite loud music from the bar next door on one night, but it was good music (live jazz, I think the singer is a bit of a local legend!) and it ended by 11. Next time I might check ahead to try and watch the show! Apart from that, it's pretty quiet and peaceful, I didn't hear anything from the other rooms even though there were other guests in.

Really pleased with this find, will definitely be going back again.

Hospitality at its very best. The rooms are a delight, beautiful furnishings, comfy beds etc. has everything you need, fridge, tea, coffee, fresh milk etc. Breakfast was amazing, try the fresh fruit & granola for starters, there is so much choice for the next course, all individually freshly cooked for you, beautifully presented as well. Special thanks to Danielle who looks after everything in the Hotel, nothing is too much trouble, you can tell she really wants you to enjoy your stay - she is a delight what a lovely person, also a mention of George the owner of Moore House & Porters next door - such a great man, once again nothing too much trouble, friendly, chatty we were made so welcome we felt like one of the family - what a great experience, we will definitely be back and recommend this little gem right in the heart of the old town to anyone.
