What a fantastic weekend we had. Our rooms were spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. The grounds were beautiful and really great for kids. Loved the food at the Pop Up and the pool and sauna is just what we needed the morning after the wedding.

This is our ninth consecutive year of visiting Pitmilly and our stay was actually even better than ever. Eilidh, Diane, Jess, Debbie and the rest of the team make you feel completely at home from the moment you arrive. We have tended to stay mostly in either The Byre Cottage or Swallow Cottage in the Courtyard but other cottages we have stayed in such as The Old Dairy, The Doocot and The Lookout have all been comfortable and really well appointed.|The facilities on site are formidably good and include The Leisure Centre, the putting green, the outdoor tennis facility, the pop-up kiosks providing excellent food and drink. the swimming pool which is bookable by individual or family group and of course the excellent and varied walks within the grounds. We would both highly recommend paying a visit to Pitmilly and suspect thereafter you may well be hooked.

I've averaged out my review of different aspects of their facilities.

Dog park: nice in theory but it's not secure - even a big dog can get out under the fence. Honestly surprised that this is what it's like as been to plenty of others where they have no problem keeping the perimeters secure. 0 stars until it is fixed and properly maintained.

Pool: lovely to book it out for a couple of people at a time. I went a few times and it's probably my favourite pool in the area, nice and clean albeit small. Only small comment for improvement would be that the lock box for accessing the key is really hard to open. Especially if you have nails but even without. Every time we've been we've struggled with it, even with different people trying it. Also the steam room door has lost part of its seal meaning that it only steams up when the steam replenishes. It's still totally worth it though, just be careful not to sit too close to where the steam comes out or you might get a little scalded. But all in all I love the steam room, sauna and pool and it's totally worth the minor points for improvement. 4.5 stars for that.

Can't say a single bad thing. Had family ages 8 to 80. It was beautiful. Immaculately clean, well looked after, good little play park for kids, outdoor and indoor games. Lovely. So peaceful and gorgeous views. The egg chairs and hammocks are a lovely touch.

Set in the midst of an arable farm but the sea is always there, nearby with stunning views and big skies. This is The East Neuk of Fife and it is beautiful. Visiting for 12 years as a family, we love the place with so many amazing memories. Please also look at their website because nothing i write can fully explain MoP. Most recent visit was with my wife and we loved it, we kinda always love it. With so much to see and do, the big box ticks were the usual cleanliness, warmth, facilities etc that are a given now but the pool is fab, warm, small and all yours for 45 minutes at a time bookable. Great for exercise, privacy and families to be safe in. There is a fully equipped sports and rec area and outdoors with safe spaces for kids and adults with tennis, putting, etc etc. Beautiful properties, well maintained and location, location is key. Maintenance exemplary. Cleanliness exemplary. Near Kingsbarns, very near to Crail and 10 minute lovely easy drive into St. Andrews so crackin cafes, pubs, shops and history and scenery everywhere you look. Thoroughly and sincerely recommend a visit to MoP. Just a beautiful Scottish place.

Wonderful place to stay with the whole family. Warm and friendly staff with incredible scenery and a view of the sea.
The accommodation had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable.
There was plenty to keep the kids and adults entertained. Great coffee and breakfast on the premises. Lots of options for eating and drinking nearby.
Dog friendly.
Highly recommend - we will definitely be back soon.

Just returned from our first visit to Morton’s of Pitmilly. Very tranquil setting. Accommodation was excellent very spacious. The games hall could do with a clean. The pop up for breakfast was great and the shop was great for anything you had forgotten. Fantastic views. Everything was perfect and we hope to return!

This is our 4th family visit to MoP 6 adults 3 children 2 dogs.|We have stayed in varied accommodation but the best now to suit our needs is The Rowans. The ground floor bedroom suits our reducing mobility. The range of what is in on offer suits all age ranges even if you want sit at the coffee cart and watch the world go by|.there is easy access to cambo house and cafes and restaurants in St. Andrews. It is better than being at home!|We will be back, promise.
