Stayed in a megapod, pleased with the accommodation all the basics we needed, and warm esp in January.
Pods set lovely in a wooded area, and a nice pub on your doorstep. Do breakfasts on a sat/Sun would of been nice if done in the week too, as on leaving would of finished our stay off lovely. But other than that lovely relaxing stay. Just make sure you book a pod with all its accommodation in, and not a pod with just electric & lighting in (bring your own) items which I nearly did.

We stayed here for 2 nights in a mega pod, it was lovely and peaceful relaxing in the hot tub.
Pod size is fine for 2 people.
Nice touches like the box of chocolates on arrival and the complimentary shampoo, shower gels etc.
lovely pub adjacent to this site with fantastic food.

Will definitely visit again in the future.

I’ve booked a luxury log cabin at this venue during the summer for February 2025, I’ve gone today to ask a question about the hot tub and after struggling to get hold of them they told me my booking doesn’t even exist, I’ve got a email off booking.com to confirm our stay so we know this is correct he then goes on to tell me the cabins have been shut throughout 2024 and 2025 bookings have been cancelled. We also know this isn’t true as there Facebook has shown numerous photos of the particular cabin and our booking was still active. They offered no apologies and then wouldn’t even transfer my booking to a different cabin. Unprofessional and unpleasant experience.

Amazing place. The staff are incredible they work so hard. I highly recommend getting the breakfast BBQ package. Food was so fresh great quality and portion was so good. Staff cant do enough for you here.

Very clean and quiet i would come back again again. The food in the station pub on site is always fresh and hot with a great atmosphere

Lovely break away, hot tub was lovely, caretaker was most helpful and the log cabin was very nice. Would definitely come back again in the near future! Food was lovely, too, at the station. (The only negative was that some young people in the pods to the right of us kept blasting out music each evening. No respect.)

Stayed here last weekend. Great location for walking & mountain biking the Longmynd and surrounding hills. The Mega Pod was perfect with everything you would need for your break.
The check in process was smooth and we got all the information we needed for our stay.
The Butchers night on Friday nights in The Station Inn pub on site is not to be missed. The steaks are just amazing. Cooked to perfection. I would say the best steak i've had outside of the USA. I would recommend booking in advance to secure a table as they looked very busy.
After the steak we had on the Friday we couldn't resist dinning on the Saturday. All the meals looked amazing. I had the Steak & Stilton pie and my wife had the fish & chips. The fish and chips were better than most chip shops and I only wished they sold larger steak & stilton pies to take away as I would have filled my freezer at home.
Rest assured we will be back as I couldn't fault the service from start to finish.

Liked: Had a fabulous stay. Lovely location and the pods are very well positioned in beautiful surroundings. The staff are friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to returning. Shropshire is such a beautiful County.
