What a great place. It's a must visit
Perhaps they could put on some entertainment for customers. 3 Mexican men playing guitars would really go down well with the customers. Also could get a transsexual telling jokes. This place is heartwarming and I got very emotional and really excited when visited. Well done everyone 👏

Two Ladies on a sunny Tuesday in May, sat outside and enjoyed, plate meat pie and plate cheese pie and numerous brews. What a wonderful afternoon. Thank You Mr Gatty's.

What a find !!

We have always seen this place but today we thought we will go and try. And we were not disappointed!

We have the High tea , the sandwiches were fab, they served a little cup of soup (carrot and coriander super yummy !) , A salad and crisps, and then with no scones (Monday they don't have scones) we chose a cake. We picked lemon cake. Absolutely delicious !

The staff were so lovely and friendly. A must visit. Food exceptional quality and staff fantastic !!

We went for afternoon tea yesterday as a birthday treat for mother in law. It was absolutely amazing, especially the little soup. That made it unique as I've never had soup with afternoon tea before, it was lovely and tasty. My husband grew up playing in gattys park, so it was very nostalgic for him as we live in Lincolnshire but have family in Accrington. One of the best afternoon tea I've had. Staff were lovely as well

Lovely setting. Beautiful building. Delicious light meals and hot drinks for us under the gazebo outdoors as the tea room was full.Helpful staff.
My work colleagues were very impressed by Mr Gatty's Tea Room and the location. Both of them told me they would go again, now they know about it.
It does seem to be a hidden gem.
