We had a lovely stay for four nights at 18 Ocean Terrace. The lodge was so well equipped and everything was new and in perfect condition. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. It was wonderful exploring the local area- the beaches are stunning and we found plenty of delicious seafood in the restaurants in nearby towns. A particular highlight was the boat trip we took from Ilfracombe. Would thoroughly recommend!

Had a lovely weeks stay here in a cabin style lodge. We was on the back so had great views over the alpaca far. Down to the sea. Nicely laid out. Would return.

We had such a relaxing stay in this gorgeous little, brand-new lodge for a couple of days in the May half-term. It's on a fabulous site in the rolling Devon hills with glimpses of the sea from the front sitting room. ||The lodge is so clean and fresh with new, stylish furniture, really comfortable beds, a smart TV and kitchen with everything you could need.||The site is really quiet, clean and well kept with a pub and shop. It's also just a 5 minute drive from Woolocombe beach and centre. We watched some great surfing and body boarding while we walked along the huge stretch of beach. Some lovely cafes and bars including a fab one overlooking the beach. Also just a short drive from Ilfracombe.||Already looking forward to our next stay!

We had the pleasure of staying in Ocean View 18 for a week's break and it was quite simply a delight. The lodge itself was immaculate. From the beautiful modern kitchen to the spacious bedroom, everything about the lodge made for a perfect relaxing getaway. It was an ideal place to explore the local area, which was filled with peaceful walks along the coast and cute little eateries. Mullacott Park is a lovely clean, friendly environment with all of the amenities you would need, featuring a shop, launderette and restaurant. This really is the ideal getaway for couples or families.

We have stayed here twice now, one cabin was perfect, the other not so much. To clarify, the cabins are individually owned, so my rating is based more on the park overall and our experience there than the individual cabin. As far as the cabins go, on both occasions they were very clean and well presented - this is managed by the park staff as opposed to the individual cabin owners. The first time we visited the cabin was perfect, in all ways. The second time we had a number of issues despite the clean and tidy welcome. The fridge packed up whilst we were there, we had issues with the oven and the mattresses were very uncomfortable. As I say though, the first time we went we had ZERO problems or complaints, so it is luck of the draw as to whose cabin you stay in, my suggestion is read individual cabin reviews when booking. Back to the park as a whole - it is clean, well presented and has some lovely views depending on which cabin you are in. There is a great little shop for basic amenities such as bread, milk, eggs etc too. The staff are very helpful and on the occasion we visited and had issues with the oven, fridge etc, they contacted us back within 10 minutes of calling with a plan and had us up and running again ASAP.

So to summarise, the park itself is lovely and a great base location for a holiday / family break. The staff and amenities are great, it is clean and well presented, there are some nice views etc depending on which cabin you stay in. My only negative was the individual second cabin which I think the particular owner of could do with Investing in some new mattresses/repair the issues within the cabin etc.

I strongly recommend the park overall, but also recommend you thoroughly research / read reviews on the particular cabin(s) there you are considering staying in before choosing.

For reference, I travelled with my wife and three young kids, and we intend to visit again next year (but not in the cabin we went in most recently!).

We stayed at 18 Ocean Terrace, Mullacott Park. The lodge was beautifully presented and comfortable. We were particularly impressed with the water pressure in the shower, the fact that the host had thought of everything you could need in the kitchen as well as the spacious sitting room with smart tv and comfy beds/bedding. Everything is new and you can even see the sea from the sitting room. The site itself was clean and well looked after and there was even a really nice pub selling wood fired pizzas! The local town of Ilfracombe had lots to offer with various supermarkets, a fishmonger on the harbour as well as the usual art galleries, restaurants, etc. We visited a number of beaches which were an easy drive away including Woolacombe and Croyde. Both were sandy and looked great for the surfers. Other activities nearby include Exmoor and Coombe Martin dinosaur park! Overall I would highly recommend the property and the area for anyone looking for a coastal break, either with or without family.
