I had high hopes for this beautifully located restaurant when I booked to have dinner here with my partner on a Saturday night.

It was a lovely sunny day but a little too cold to enjoy the terrace so we sat inside.

Our hopes of a lovely experience were soon dashed by the *dreadful* service we received apart from Jack's valiant effort to help us. He kept coming in from the busy terrace to attend to us although he had enough on his plate outside.

It was a pitiful experience, as if we were invisible.

Oh well, at least the food was OK.

We won't choose Muse again.

Nit quite what I expected and advertised the food and service was good but a pub / club cafe atmosphere I expected a quiet meal but the wedding music could ge heard all through the restaurants I probably would only resist for a lunch or drink when in the area

The food is great!!! I would like to say a big thank you for all the staff and my waitress... I have allergy's for certain foods and they made sure everything was done perfectly for me as well as checking up on me. I have never had such great service before! P.S I NEED to come back for your cocktails

They were serving the same menu but in the Cliff Bar instead of The Muse restaurant which was closed.

The food didn't look anything like the photos others have posted on here. All of the reviews with the fancy looking food were written a year ago or more. It's a shame because from the old photos the food looked delicious.

The restaurant itself is stunning - decor is lovely. Service was very good. My mum and I had lunch from the 3 courses for £12 menu. We both had ribs which were amazing. Mum had seabass and she liked hers. I had steak (risky as am very fussy with my steak). I asked if they could cook it blue, steak came out and I got medium rare. Nice piece of meat and didn't want to be a pain and make them cook another one so I ate it and it was ok. The blue cheese sauce with it was very nice. We both had lemon panna cotta tart which was amazing. Overall good experience except my steak so I took a star off.

It took them 45 mins to bring starters out. I ordered salad and leaves were very dry as if they weren't washed or left out all day and another 40 mins before the main came out. I ordered 6oz rib eye and my partner ordered 10oz sirloin but what we got instead was 8oz rib eye and 8oz fillet. Very disappointing.

Celebrated my birthday at this lovely restaurant,food was very tasty, cocktails were amazing and not forgetting the staff who's customer service was second to none. Will definitely recommend treating yourself to a night out here
