Lovely place. Spending occasional time there whilst away on business. Rooms are very smart & fresh and just have everything you need. Feel very at home in them.
Food and beer are excellent. Everything is super value for money.
Staff are great. Extremely friendly and welcoming. Village setting is very pleasant with nice walks straight from the pub.
Only possible complaint would be that the bar devour is not as homely or as smart as it could be. However it’s fine and I always have a good time there.

Usually excellent it was such a disappointing lunch last Friday.The jacket potato was hard as had been overdone in the microwave.We did get a sorry later on and that was it. In an hour no one came to ask if we wanted a sweet or coffee so we left and had one elsewhere.
A real shame as usually good value is good food and good service.

Really great hotel and pub. Easy book in at the bar, where staff are friendly and helpful. the rooms are comfortable. The staff where very friendly and helpfull.

Food was excellent, quickly served and with a good menu.

Beers were well tended and poured. With some very tasty specialty beers.

In or around the area I can recommend this place for work a stopover over or a stay.

We had just passed over the spectacular Humber Bridge, and found spectacular accommodation that this establishment.
The staff were helpful, professional and very friendly, the bar and was quiet and comfortable with a very local friendly attitude, the beer was excellent.
The restaurant, had a small menu with a number of weekly specials and we had no difficultly in finding something for our evening meal, the food was tasty, well cooked, generous portions and above all tasty.
Three courses for two for just a couple of pence short of forty quid was exceptional value for money.
The en suite rooms were of very good quality, well appointed, clean and quiet, with nice comfortable beds.
This is a community run Hotel/Pub/Restaurant that is welcoming, comfortable, friendly and very good value for money, if you are in the area do give it a try you will not be disappointed.

What a little gem we found ..and a very friendly welcome from the staff we travelled up from are home town London ...what a pleasant stay the room.was beautiful and clean and very comfortable indeed ..would definitely recommend this place ? and we will stay again 10 out of 10 ...

Very nice place, we had sweet and sour chicken which was lovely, only thing I would say is I had apple pie which was very nice but heated up in the microwave and I dont like soft pastry.

Stayed in carpark in our campervan. Very peaceful night. Food is good and reasonably priced. All the staff are friendly and helpful. A lovely stop over, definitely will be going back.

Had an overnight stop over in motorhome . Staff were brilliant.
Came out to great us and show us where to park . Very friendly staff nothing was too much trouble. Great food at good prices. Will definitely go back
