I have to say that I absolutely love this gorgeous hotel. Everything was perfect from the staff checking us in, to the beautiful room to the amazing food. The staff at the hotel always had a smile and were super helpful when we asked for information. Our room was spotless and the views were fantastic. The lovely breakfast was very much welcomed following a few drinks in the bar the night before. I would highly recommend staying here and we will be back!!

Fantastic stay at Netley! ||Food was excellent, lots of choices and a fantastic breakfast! ||Lodges are very spacious and fully equipped which made the stay very enjoyable. ||The grounds and views are out if this world and makes a very enjoyable walk when exploring the grounds. ||Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. ||A great stay and would highly recommend.

What a lovely stay we had at netley!! We had lovely fresh fruit to start, loads of tea choices, Being coffee connoisseurs we loved the coffee , yogurts and pastries and then then this amazing breakfast:-) staff were very helpful and smiley, the grounds are amazing!!, cottage was beautifully clean, beds were super comfy! |Will definitely be coming back thank you so much x

Booked 3 nights a couple of months ago stressing that I was vegan and asked if they would sort a nice vegan dinner and dessert as it was a special occasion. So very disappointing , olives were the only starter on the menu and one main . The only dessert was sorbet. Breakfast was another nightmare . Vegan sausages , beans hash browns were made of vegetables and tasted of uncooked onion , wasn’t hot . No vegan spread , no vegan cereal except porridge. No bananas . Mushrooms- well not even cooked . Room was nice but no internet . Bathroom large and cold . Nice big heated towel rail but it wasn’t on once . After asking many many times for heating in the evening we never had any . We were told on one afternoon that there was a wedding and we would have to stay either in our room or away from the hotel . We weren’t told this when we booked . The waiting staff were lovely and tried their best fair play. Ordered toast one morning and it came with a large triangle of butter on it . What bit about vegan they didn’t understand I’m not sure ?! Never again.

Excellent weekend break for me and my family everything perfect food was amazing. Plenty to choose from for breakfast, fresh fruit to start, yoghurts and pastries. Coffee was beautiful so many different varieties of teas. Would definitely stay again.

If you want a little trip away, here is the place, the english full breakfast was lovely & hot! & the added fresh fruit with yogurts was a nice touch, the service was also excellent.. & the cottage was clean & tidy with nice soft towells .. however it would be nice to have a TV in the bedroom |(personal choice) but still absolutely lovely, thankyou netley hall we will be back !

Netley Hall is a lovely building with a lot of potential, sadly it was an overall disappointing stay. ||The positives - gorgeous country house with nice grounds and self catering cottages. The food at dinner was good, and staff helpful. ||The negatives - understaffed, skeleton staff trying to manage the bar, restaurant and reception area all at the same time. Breakfast was terrible. Poor selection of hot and cold food, the hot food was barely tepid. If breakfast isn’t part of your package, do not pay extra for it. ||We stayed in a self-catering cottage. The bedrooms and en-suites have no windows, so no natural light. Check out is early, at 10am. I paid extra for a late check out so my family and I could shower after breakfast and not rush. We had no hot water in the cottage. Upon complaint when checking out, I was informed that there’s a switch somewhere in the kitchen to turn on hot water. And no-one felt it necessary to tell me this. For almost £200 a night, you’d expect hot water as a minimum. |Would not stay here again.

Nice hotel set in nice grounds. However, a little run down and in need of some TLC.||Check-in was very good (truly excellent lady receptionist). The allocated room was large but, actually, not so good due to proximity of kitchen extractor outside bedroom window. At the time it smelt of deep fried food so that was really unpleasant (it was warm so windows would need to be open) and then at 06.30/07.00 the extractor would obviously start up again with breakfast service. No matter. Quick polite word with receptionist and we were shown another 3 or 4 rooms (it was a Thursday so not fully booked). The staff could not have been more helpful. ||But, sadly, the noise from outside the new room was VERY LOUD. Not only was the background music VERY LOUD but a male member of staff was also VERY LOUD. You could hear everything he was saying and we were a floor above. Again, a quiet & polite word turned the music down (it really was ridiculously loud) and the chap was also told by another staff member to shhhhhh a bit. ||Bar good, service excellent. Restaurant food good. ||Slept well and needed the pedestal fan on (which was VERY welcome).||Breakfast hit & miss and more miss. It was not in either of the restaurants so took some finding. Self service buffet (which I don’t really mind unless I want something cooked to order) but some of the food was dried up and looked poor no matter how many times the staff stirred and tuned the food. A bit ‘yuk’ if I’m honest.
