We stayed for a night in one of the rooms above the pub.|When we arrived the room stunk of cigarettes and it had no toilet roll. Our daughter had arrived before us and warned us so we had to take our own toilet roll with us.|In the morning there was no hot water and the shower ran cold and there was one sachet of coffee between three people for an overnight stay. |For the £69 we paid (although it’s not too much) we’d have expected better and could have got better elsewhere.|Prior to our stay the pub emailed us to warn us that there was music on that night until 1am which was good of them and we were ok with that but if that’s not your thing and you need a good night’s sleep it’s another reason to avoid this one on a weekend

We chose this hotel mainly because of its proximity to a wedding venue we were attending. All but one plug sockets were hidden behind a corner sofa which two of us had to drag out. No plug socket within 15 feet of the tea making station so had to set it on the floor. Then at about 11 at night when the pub down stairs closed the person on lock up flipped off the mains electricity. Nobody there when we went down. So spent the night and morning unable to shower ,no cup of tea,not able to use hair straighteners etc. we’re out early in the morning. Next night same story. Dangerous and disgusting behaviour. Would not return if it was free.

Booked this hotel as was close to DW Stadium (25 min walk) and we were here to see the Lathums. We needed a family room which is why we booked this hotel/pub.||On arrival the girl who gave us our keys and showed us to our room was nice and friendly. Room clean but very basic. Car park across the road. Pay as you go. Could not pay for 24 hours so have to be up early to get another ticket. No problem with that as loud music from downstairs since 6 AM!!!!!!! I know there’s a pub downstairs but this is just ridiculous. Couldn’t wait to get out of there if I’m being honest. ||I would never stay here again. You get what you pay for. Won’t make the same mistake twice.

Went here for the first time Saturday night amazing staff brilliant karaoke host great music very close to city centre atmosphere brilliant very friendly warming and well will definitely be back again thank you x
