The farm is set in an area of traditional farming, a few minutes' drive from Ham Walls RSPB Reserve. My dog and I were installed in a huge bedroom, beautifully presented, with every convenience one could think of - even hot-water bottles. On arrival I was offered a very welcome pot of tea and guided to the best local pub for my evening meal. The breakfast was again very well presented and professionally prepared. From local ingredients.||I have only one reservation : the mattress was too hard for me, and I did not have a great night's sleep.

We arrived after a long journey and was met by the owner, she was very welcoming and made use a cup of tea and mince pie which was a really nice touch.|The room we stayed in was lovely and spacious with an ensuite. Everything you could need was in the room including fresh milk in a small fridge. The room itself was spotless and the bed and pillows were to die for.|We had an evening meal which was beautiful and value for money. We were unable to eat the cheese and crackers cause we was so full from the main and sweet. |Breakfast was cooked to perfection and a good start to the day for our journey home. We will be arranging another visit in spring this B&B is just perfect.

We were greeted by the host on arrival with a very welcome pot of tea and cake. The room was large clean and comfortable. Very dog friendly and a lovely breakfast too! I wish we were there for more than just one night.

Myself, my mother and brother stayed for four nights in June and we really enjoyed our time there. The breakfasts and evening meals were lovely and the accommodation was very clean and had all we wanted. Anne was very welcoming and helpful. New House Farm also has a good location conveniently placed for local nature reserves, Glastonbury, the Mendips etc.

This was an excellent B&B. The owner was very friendly and provided more than normally expected in this type of establishment. The room was roomy and very well equipped; but in addition to the room itself there was additional facilities downstairs which we could use. The breakfast was good with a large choice of options. I would recommend New house Farm to anyone wanting to stay in that part of Somerset.

We selected this farmhouse B&B on the basis of its location, as it's very near the nature reserves of RSPB Ham Wall and Shapwick Heath.||||I really have no criticisms at all of our staY. From the ample parking provided for visitors to tge well appointed and spacious bedroom, the comfortable lounge for guests, and the delicious home cooked evening meal that was provided for us, we were very happy with everything.||||The bedroom really did have everything you could want. There was ample storage, a huge and comfortable double bed, a fridge with fresh milk to put in your hot drinks, biscuits and chocolates, a hair dryer, clock, hot water bottles, spare toiletry items, ample towels and so on. ||||We were unable to make the bedroom door key lock it from the outside but we felt so secure that this was not an issue.||||As we were setting out at 5:30am for an early morning visit to Ham Wall, we opted for breakfast when we returned at 9:30. However, Mrs Bell was also prepared to give us breakfast before we went out if we had so wished. ||||We'll be happy to return here if we need an overnight stay in this area again.

My wife and I were directed here from a different bed and breakfast establishment that had double booked our room due to some sort of confusion between them and late rooms, which was not a good start to our weekend stay in Glastonbury. This turned out to be very fortunate as Newhouse Farm was probably the best bed and breakfast that we have ever stayed in. Ann who runs the business welcomed us by providing tea and cake in the conservatory as soon as we arrived. Because of the short notice we had to move into different rooms for the two nights that we were staying in the area, which was no problem for us and very accommodating of Ann to arrange this. We had a good nights sleep in each of the rooms and the breakfasts were first class. Every little detail had been taken care of within the house to make our stay seamless. Glastonbury was in easy reach and we had dinner there on one night and went to see the Kinks in the Abbey grounds on another night. We also bicycled around the nature reserve, which is very close to the farm. The swallows darting in and out of the building next door to the house to feed their young was entertaining and a pleasure to see. Both my wife and I will have fond memories of our time spent here.
