Stayed here on my wedding night. Booked the Jacuzzi roof top room. Room & service was 10/10. Although they don't offer a concierge service the 2 guys at reception helped with luggage and we were checked in very quickly and pretty much went straight to our room which the help of the staff carrying our luggage.

We were given complimentary drinks and late check out, which was very nice of them.

Thank you to the guys at reception, we'll be visiting again for sure!

Upon arrival, check-in was delayed due to a large group ahead of me. While the staff at the desk were friendly, it was frustrating after a long day. Additionally, my key card didn’t activate the lift, so I had to return to the desk to get it sorted. The service was polite, but both issues were annoying after a tiring day. As a single woman, I didn’t feel entirely safe walking to the hotel, and the location isn’t one I’d choose again, though I admit I’m not used to city environments. The first impression of the hotel was positive—modern, clean, and definitely a step up from places like Premier Inn or Travelodge.||In the bedroom, I always inspect the bed, and unfortunately, I found a hair and a small orange stain when I lifted the sheets. I contacted reception via WhatsApp, and a staff member brought up a clean sheet, but with housekeeping gone for the day, I had to change the bed myself. The menu seemed limited, and I noticed that all the meat options appeared to be halal. Breakfast options were okay, but I was disappointed to learn that you have to pay extra for any coffee other than filter coffee.||I had a terrible night’s sleep, partly because the bed felt unclean even after changing the sheet, and also due to the noise throughout the night—I was woken up several times. The heater didn’t work properly, though the air conditioning did cool the room down. The blinds didn’t close all the way. |As a note a £50 deposit was required upon check-in. |Overall, although friendly staff, I wouldn’t stay here again.

LOCATION: Whitechapel, eastend : a large Bangladeshi Muslim community with their restaurants, mosques, markets etc . Real change of scenery from other areas where we have stayed in beautiful London. Interesting to discover this terra incognita.||Easy walk to use public transport (tube, train or bus). Recommend to take bus number 15 and enjoy a ride from eastend to westend, kind of "sightseeing tour" ?||We felt safe, at night you can only enter the hotel using your room key card, for the elevator you always have to use it.||DESIGN/AMBIANCE: the hotel is located in an ex-factory which was renovated with care and has modern and clean rooms, but the vintage industrial look is really very special, we liked it.||FRONT DESK: staff is the biggest asset of this hotel, friendly, welcoming, responsive ! Special mention to Mr Toby.||LUGGAGE STORAGE: on both arrival and departure day we could leave our suitcases (for free).||ROOMS&HOUSEKEEPING: the rooms have good size (for London and the price paid) and are clean and modern. Housekeeping did a good job. Bathroom products were high quality (showergel, shampoo, hand/body lotion). ||Safe in the room to use for free.||Good sleepquality concerning bed&pillows.||No mini fridge in the room, no ice maker in the hotel, but you can ask for ice at the bar. If you care for tea, coffee, hot chocolate ... different "help yourself" places offer it for free inside the hotel.||BF: very small "buffet" where you had "cheap tea bags" (otherwise you had to pay extra if you wanted fruit tea or Earl Grey for example), coffee from the mini buffet didn't taste well either, same story here, for a cappucino/espresso you had to pay extra.||But, on the other side with our BF included package we could choose an extra dish à la carte ? "avocado toast" and "oeufs benedicte" were delicious.||We liked our stay in the New Road Hotel and recommend it.

Really enjoyed my 1 night stay. Good value for money. I think the hotel is trying really hard and staff were super friendly. Room was good but just about big enough for 1 Or 2 nights, don’t think I’d like to stay longer I feel it would get a little claustrophobic. ||Breakfast needs to be improved I’d say it’s average at best. Restaurant was very quiet even on Saturday night/ Sunday lunch didn’t eat so can’t review.||Really close to Shoreditch/brick lane which is where we wanted to explore. Overall enjoyed my stay.

I loved this hotel! It’s not in the loveliest area of London but it’s tucked away and inside it’s absolutely gorgeous. The staff were really friendly and we were given a voucher for money off Mr Whites which is on site. The room was glorious, exactly like the photos, the bed was comfy, the shower was hot and everything was clean. The tea and coffee are in communal areas so you can have as much as you like, there’s a little seating area on the roof which was lovely. And there’s a pool table and an area to iron, think I saw some yoga mats and free weights. It was such a nice hotel and really reasonable |Would definitely recommend

Gilbert and Annan were amazing receptionists!!! I was truly taken care of so well during my trip here and I am very happy with how my stay went. I highly recommend this hotel for solo travellers and to anyone who wants to be close by to the touristy parts but not in the bustle of London - very cool space and great service - a restaurant in the lobby too with amazing house red wine!

Very good hotel. Ideal location 5 minutes from the metro. Clean room, quite sufficient space and a very large bed. Very friendly staff, special mention to the staff at reception day and night, very friendly and accommodating. I would return to this hotel without hesitation.
