A fantastic b & b. Nothing was too much trouble and Sue was the perfect hostess. A very scrummie breakfast including homemade jams and marmalade. Yummie fresh fruit salad every morning and real home from home experience. A revisit is definitely on the cards me thinks. Left there on Saturday morning feeling I had been on holiday for a few days. The bed was luxurious and very comfortable. The rooms are very spacious and include everything you could possibly need including a hairdryer which is a bonus. Set in lovely grounds with loads of outdoor furniture. Spent a fair few hours sitting outside with a cuppa in gorgeous surroundings. Added facility of outdoor pool, not used on this visit but who knows! There is nothing that can be improved in my opinion😊.

Really enjoyed our stay. Food was excellent apart from a minor issue. Hospitality excellent and the hot tub and swimming pool were great. Room was good, thought it had a bath but that must have been me misreading. Plenty of space, comfy beds and hot choc was much appreciated. Thank you Sue, oh and George the dog is a big softie.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay. We were in Barn owl which a lovely spacious room. As always Sue & Ian were very welcoming, Nothing is too much trouble.George the dog is adorable. Breakfsat was delicious with plenty of choice. Spent time relaxing in hot tub after days out. Plenty of choice restaurants towards Thirsk/ Northallerton. Thanks so much Sue, Ian & George

A wonderful bed and breakfast set in a lovely part of the country but easily accessible, just 10/15 mins off the motorway. We love coming here for the warm welcome and the fantastic breakfasts! The rooms are generous in size but still cosy and always immaculate. A real haven.

We spent a couple of nights here on our way back South and will definitely choose to stay again. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable accommodation and excellent breakfasts. Sue is a very friendly hostess and we felt relaxed at all times. We ate at an excellent pub called the Kings Arms, only about 5 minutes by car, both nights and would certainly recommend it too. We booked this B&B for a weekend stay whilst visiting family. We were very impressed with the place. Sue is a wonderful host and does a great breakfast - everything you could wish for and great local produce. |We stayed in the Snowy Owl room - it was immaculate and beautifully presented. We enjoyed relaxing in the little bar before retiring to the very comfy bed. |It had a real homely feel - like 'home from home' (well, better than our home actually lol) and was so peaceful.|Rich and I come to Thirsk a few times a year so we will definitely be staying here again (and I'll bring my swimsuit next time!!). |Thanks Sue for making us feel so welcome 🙂

Last minute get away. 2 nights. In eagle cottage. Well what a lovely surprise. 3 bedrooms cottage with private hot tub. So comfortable and everything you needed and more. Sue is a top host. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was superb. Plenty of choice. From cereals, toast, fruit, yoghurt or a full fry up. Parking great. Really had a great weekend.

What a lovely place to stay. Hot tub was amazing, surrounded by nature including an orchard. Could have stayed in it all day, staring up at the apple tree! Was a bit cold for the pool. Reeeeeally comfy bed and pillows, a big winner for us. Room was decorated very nicely. Nice breakfast and lovely host. Think we will defo be back. Thirsk birds of prey centre down the road is worth a visit too.
