Great accommodation in a lovely location. Plenty of parking. We stayed in one of the apartments, which was excellent, well equipped and lovely and warm. Ross was very good with communicating with us throughout our stay. Fantastic location with some beautiful walks right on the doorstep.

Absolute gem of a hotel.
We had two dogs so didn’t stay in the actual hotel but one of the lovely pet friendly apartments. There was everything you need in the apartment and it was spotlessly clean. We were so comfortable we didn’t even go out in the evening
The hotel itself is in a perfect location with the Tissington Trail right at the back gate. Across the small road is the road to Dove Dale, another beautiful walk.
Every interaction we had with the Team was so helpful and friendly. They couldn’t do enough.
I’d stay there again without a doubt.
Highly recommended.

We stayed for 1 night in one of the cottages. The hotel and restaurant were closed due to refurbishment but couldn't fault it for a last minute stay. The room was basic but cosy, good location close to Ashbourne. Staff (Ross) was really accommodating and friendly. Nice grounds and next to Tissington trail.

Stayed, on route, for one night with our dog. We had a very comfortable sleep, the room was more than adequate and it was nice and quiet. Very clean, lounge areas and breakfast rooms, no dogs in the breakfast rooms but there is plenty of space for them in the lounge areas. We left ours in the vehicle and had a quiet breakfast. Beautiful countryside views while having breakfast. There is a country lane right opposite with footpaths available for a little walk before breakfast (for the dog). All in all, we shall stop here again. The staff is excellent friendly and courteous. Thank you. Melanie, Angelo and Sam (the dog). Excellent breakfast!

Only stayed for one night but it was exactly what we needed, pet friendly, nice rooms, plenty of parking and a good veggie breakfast.

Only slight negative was the mattress. It was a little lumpy. But that's a minor issue.

Recently had a great stay here. Have stayed here 5 times now over 11 years with 7-10 work colleagues when attending an exhibition. Always look after us well, even prepare take away breakfast rolls for those of us who prefer that, but the breakfast is good 🙂.

Handy place near towns and walks as long as you take your car. Lovely breakfast apart from the sausage.
