We had an excellent stay overall. Convenient location. Good tea and coffee making facilities. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. A family gathering stayed in a neighbouring room -one woman was particularly noisy during the night.

This is our second stay at No1. We like it because it is close to town. It's on a busy road, but this quietens down at night so we slept very well.|The rooms are very clean and well maintained with comfortable beds. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. |The showers are very good with excellent pressure. Our first room also had a bath.|We will definately stay again. It has everything we want when visiting Stamford and at a good price.

Stayed at No1 guest house for a wedding with family and friends would recommend absolutely spotless very comfortable bed 5 min walk to town centre everything thing you need in there even a Wetherspoon cheap drink and food the hosts were lovely anything you need they were on hand definitely recommend I will be going back in th near future

Really nice place, conveniently located for the town centre and great to have parking available. Well furnished room with a comfortable bed and good shower. The owner is very nice, would happily stay again.

If you’re after a spotlessly clean room in a magnificent location THIS is the place. You’re perfectly situated for all of Stamford and the owners are friendly and understanding. Cannot fault it - even the WiFi was good! In a town of often overpriced hotels this place provides a real alternative.

Nice bed only establishment. Met by the friendly owner who explained the booking in and access procedure

The room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities provided

The shower room was well equipped and modern

Just a word of warning - the parking spaces at the front of the house needs to be tackled with care if you have a low clearance car

Thought this was one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed at with a lovely clean room with a comfortable bed and fabulous bathroom. It is just a five minute walk to the centre of Stamford so absolutely perfect. There is only a few car parking spaces and first come first serve but we personally had no problem. Would highly recommend
