Stopped into Nobels Cafe in Ballymena for the first time and was seriously impressed! It’s like “cafe meets kanban” – everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Had the best cup of tea I’ve had in ages, perfectly brewed with enough teabags for a proper strong cuppa. The Ulster fry was hands down the best I’ve had in a long time – probably the best in County Antrim! The place was spotless, including the toilets which were exceptionally clean and tidy. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back soon!

I stopped in here for a bit of scran during a shopping trip. I'd never been and it was so nice I had to leave a comment. I was very quickly seated, despite it being lunch hour, and staff were very friendly, courteous and quick!

The food was excellent for a small cafe and the portion size of the 5 piece fry was just right. There were many dining options to choose from but I did pick beans. Normally, beans are splattered haplessly across a plate and it leaves your toast soggy, something I loathe. But these were served in a separate dish which was much appreciated.

I was able to sit for quite a length of time undisturbed to digest as well, and enjoy my tea, and all in all it was an enjoyable experience. Very clean as well! Top notch grub and service.

Food was nice. Staff friendly and the place itself was lovely. Cash only though. Sign for this wasn’t noticeable enough as I didn’t notice. Staff should mention this when seating customers as I was flustered when checking out.

Miserable Servings.

Lunch Toastie Menu a joke.

Toasties cut into quarters like a child's portion. Made with the skinniest of slices of bread.

Counted 11 chips as a side portion and then when I politely asked if it was a child dish that I ordered I was brought another portion of chips and then charged for them at the end.

Not a good experience and not value at all for money.

I got one thing of chips, wasn’t informed it was cash only and had to visit my local barber to help me out. There was a sign at the door saying Cash Only however it was COMPLETELY unnoticeable and unreasonably small. The vinegar was watered down and half the holes in my salt were taped over to limit salt flow. Very angry about limited payment options, I can’t be the only one who feels this way. I will not be visiting again.
