Absolutely lovely pub. I went to see a band play (Sunday Hut) the pubs set up for sound is brilliant and the band had a really good sound because of how we'll set out the pub is. Really nice staff and great service, lots of seating available around the edge of the main room and seating in the back. There's also a large area to stand in for performances. Only thing I would say is that the pub is quite small and when there is live music it's a little difficult to move around and get to the bar. But this is all posative because of the amount of people wanting to see the band play.
Had a great time, would really recommend this pub for live music and a nice pint.

This place has a great atmosphere, with great upbeat Friday and Saturdays and relaxed easy Sundays all driven by live bands.

The beer and spirits have been changed under the new management to a much better standard, due to the landlords passion for what he does.

Now opening for coffee during the day too!

Cosy fire, jukebox and pool table (not level) all make this a must visit venue

The best pub in Melton Mowbray without a doubt. The landlords are warm and welcoming. Entertainment provided at least 3 days a week, and something for all tastes. A great selection of beers and spirits etc and all at decent prices.

Small pub, big music.
August 2020. New landlady with a lot of promise not just promises. Redecorated throughout and rooms revamped. No live music yet due to covid19. Opening hours have been extended.

Nice pub with decent selection of ales. Just popped in for a drink to get out of the rain, so can't give a very informed review. Seemed like regular small gigs happen there too.

What a lovely pub. Watching the awesome Filthy Contact here tonight freaking brilliant. The pub is very reasonably priced and a really nice layout with a banging stage 😁
