Richard the Manager was efficient and professional, so the welcome went smoothly. The hotel was spotless and nicely decorated. Rooms were spacious. In a great location, just a few minutes walk from the main area, and about a 10/15 minute walk to the pier.|The food was tasty and a nice selection of meals. Entertainment was 50/50, but still nice to have it, the chairs were seated like a cinema,? There was a lovely pool, but we didnt get time to use it. All the staff was pleasant and polite. So on the whole this was a 10/10 break away and would certainly recommend it. Thank you

Visited this hotel for New Year we upgraded our room which was well worth the money |The staff very good Chris in the restaurant served us and was a credit to the hotel. |Daniel was on the bar downstairs and was expected to run the bar, sort out the bingo he really needs some support.|The room was too small for the entertainment but I believe they are making alterations to this |Went to the pool which was very nice, the sauna was to die for. |I heard a number of guests complaining but for me it was an excellent stay and I would return.|

Went on a Festive Break to this hotel stayed in room 7 as previously reported the sink had a nasty crack in it (obviously something had fallen into it). And agree no mattress covers and my single mattress needs replacing as could feel the springs through.Communal rooms were nicely decorated but cold and no atmosphere, the seating in the entertainment lounge were in rows so again no atmosphere. Meals: 8.00am breakfast too early, should be 8.00am until 9.00am. Breakfast very good, evening meal not so good, especially the evening buffet on Christmas Day was abysmal, no variety and produce cheap and nasty. Such a shame as this is a lovely hotel and could be so much better.

Have stayed here 4 times, the first 3 were very good and always gave fantastic feedback, however the last time wasn't as good with mix ups that made me feel undervalued as a guest. Also accidently left my phone charger behind but when i got home and contacted the hotel it wasn't found !. Also it says Fridges in all rooms which i thought was great as i have injections that should be kept in the fridge but had to ask the last 2 times. I travel to Bournemouth frequently and this used to be my first choice. Would i stay here again ?.....Only if i couldn't get a better deal elsewhere.

Have stayed here a couple of times now and love it. Breakfast was superb! Rooms have been decent and the beds are comfy. Great spot with loads of restaurants and bars nearby. Whenever I'm in Bournemouth area working I will stay here.

Reading the reviews will put you off and it nearly did for us but I'm glad it didn't because the hotel is perfectly fine, great location to many bars and restaurants. It is a very family friendly hotel, family room bunk beds were a treat and the swimming pool was great. Lovely and warm, and they also provide pool towels. The shower in the room was modern with good pressure and heat. Beds were comfortable and linen clean. Yes the hotel is dated but it doesn't impact its functionality and comfort. We would happily stay again. The only negative I would say is the car price, very expensive but it is safe, secure and underground so stays cool in the heat.

Visiting this hotel was like visiting my grandma's house: comfortably worn and immaculately clean. It was an interesting mix of new and old. New mattresses with antique-looking chandeliers. Beautiful new bathrooms (great showers!) and out-of-fashion carpet. I love it. This eclectic mix is just my style.

The front desk service was welcoming and comprehensive. The staff gave great directions, as the rooms were around a restaurant and then another corner. The pool allows 6 people maximum, so it's recommended to book a swim time when you arrive although we had no problem booking for an immediate swim. The hot tub was sandy and the water was quite chlorinated.

Our family room was comfortable. There wa a large wardrobe, desk, cabinet with TV, double bed and bunk beds. The mattresses were firm and springy. The linens are crisp, clean, and white.

The reason I docked a star is because the housekeeper should be given 5 more minutes per room. The lamps were dusty and when I flipped over the bathroom floor mat after showering, the bottom had dirt smudges.
