We had a wonderful long weekend at Badger’s Cottage. The cottage is spacious with amazing views out of every window. It is perfect for families, with everything you need for babies and toddlers. Trish and Andrew are wonderful hosts, Trish enjoyed we had everything we needed and my 3 year old loved bottle feeding the lambs with Andrew. We were attending a wedding at Axnoller next door and our cottage on North Buxham Farm was right next door. Wonderful stay with stunning sunsets every evening. Highly recommend, hope to visit again.

Me and my husband stayed in one of the shepherds huts for one night and we wished we had stayed for longer! Trish was extremely welcoming and helpful. The view from the hut was amazing, we were surrounded by fields and animals which was lovely. It was so quiet whilst we were there about from the sound of the animals which is very relaxing. Considering the weather was quite cold in April the hut was so lovely and warm throughout the night. I couldn’t fault a single thing whilst we were there. I only regret was that we didn’t think for longer and that we didn’t book to have our breakfast there in the morning. Will definitely be going back!!

I stayed at North Buckham farm whilst attending a wedding nearby. The location was ideal for the event, and the whole experience was faultless. The hut is set back in a separate field with horses grazing nearby, and felt like a real country idyll. The hut was warm and cosy, and full facilities were available very close to the hut.||||Trish and her husband were friendly and welcoming throughout, and cooked an incredible breakfast to boot! Would absolutely recommend a stay at North Buckham Farm.;

We had a fantastic time staying at North Buckham Farm in the shepherd's huts, we had amazing weather so we left the top door open on our hut whilst we slept and to wake up to the sight of sheep, lambs and nothing but grass was fantastic. Trish and Andrew were great hosts and couldn't do enough to make our stay fabulous.||We loved helping to bottle feed the lambs, they were so precious and the badger watching was fantastic.||Trish makes a gorgeous breakfast, the homemade bread was amazing.||We definitely recommend staying here.

We had a fantastic time during our stay at Badger's cottage. Trish and Andrew were really friendly and helpful. Everything was spotless and tidy inside, and practical as well as comfortable. Visiting with two young children, we were really impressed with the range of equipment and facilities. There were enough outdoor toys to keep our boys occupied on the lawn at the back (football, cricket bats etc), and a fair few books and dvd's. The boys also enjoyed feeding the lambs, and one evening our eldest was able to watch a badger searching for food from the hide in one of the fields. Hopefully we will be able to re-visit this beautiful part of the country one day, and wouldn't hesitate to re-book some time at the Cottage.

Planning a horseback riding adventure along the Wessex Ridgeway proved difficult as it was hard to find accommodation for both horse and rider. My friends and I found North Buckham Farm and had a wonderful stay in the Shepherd Huts. They are perfectly located for The Wessex Ridgeway and our hosts were very friendly and helpful - even arranging food to be delivered on our arrival. The horses were very relaxed after a long days ride and settled well, grazing with sheep.

Trish was the most wonderful host, the hut was comfortable and charming and I had a great nights sleep. The kitchen and bathroom were lovely and breakfast was incredible. I couldn’t recommend staying here any more.

We needed accommodation for a family group of ten for our daughter's wedding at Mapperton. We were six in Badger's Cottage and four in the very comfortable shepherds' huts and it was ideal. The owners were very welcoming and the farm is in beautiful countryside. We loved the opportunity to help bottle-feed the orphan lambs, too!
