A lovely hidden gem in Bournemouth.
This was my second visit, taking my Dad and son and once again we loved it. Full plates of delicious food, perfect coffee and desserts that were beautiful.

If you’re looking for the best breakfast in Bournemouth, I have to recommend Norwegian Wood Cafe — it was easily one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had! The cosy atmosphere, friendly staff, and a menu that has something for everyone make it an ideal spot to start the day.

One dish that stood out for me was The Gutbuster, especially the way they cook hash browns. They were hands-down the nicest hash browns I’ve ever tasted! Golden and crispy on the outside, yet soft and perfectly seasoned on the inside, they had the perfect balance that’s hard to find. Paired with a hearty full English breakfast or even just on their own, they’re simply unforgettable.

If you are a breakfast enthusiast or just in the mood for an amazing morning meal, Norwegian Wood Cafe in Bournemouth is a must-visit.

It was great value for money. The place has not changed much in the last 10 years. Wooden tables and chairs. Very good size portions at a low price.
The menu has not changed much and it's packed with comfort food and traditional dishes.
I would recommend the English breakfast options. They are not fancy but they are well cooked and filling.
Coffee was not too bad either.

Super cosy and tasty. Had the latte with the Bacon baguette. Large portions with proper bacon and perfectly toasted. The staff were incredibly kind and made the place really inviting. It's a hidden gem in Bournemouth and will definitely be coming in again.

Cute place, good breakfast. I wish I could give the lovely ladies 6 out of 5 stars for the service. The latte was not great but all the food was yum!
