Stayed here over the weekend for a base after a wedding and I was impressed. |All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. |The room was fantastic, nicely decorated, large space. Bed was super comfy and got a great night sleep. |Bathroom was very spacious and was suprised to find a shower and a separate bath. |Breakfast was brilliant. Great selection and the mini chocolate croissants were the best I have had. |All the downstairs and communal areas were clean and fresh and looked great. ||Hands down the best hotel I have stayed in Ipswich and great value for money.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our room and facilities available in this hotel. The staff were equally polite and extremely helpful. The restaurant menu in the evening was quite limited, but the helpfulness of the waiter forced us to still stay and eat what was on offer. Breakfast was excellent. Overall, it was a real positive experience. Thank you.

Typical novotel. Room was clean and tidy with a sofa and comfy bed. Bathroom was fine other than shower would flood bathroom unless we took drain cover off. Always helpful to have toilet separate. Coffee sachets was nice. Breakfast was v good with normal cooked selection and some decent meats and cheeses and melon. Nice having decaf tea. Had electric car charger which is important for us but couldn't charge overnight and although advertised 50kw, was only 7kw charge in 1 hour. Staff were pleasant and helpful

Unfortunately the hotel canceled my booking made 5 months prior to my planned stay at the hotel. My booking was cancelled with three weeks notice meaning that all other discounted advanced bookings at other hotels were no longer available. The hotel offered no assistance to find another hotel nor any compensation. My booking was cancelled in favour of a client wanting ‘exclusive use of the hotel’. I suspect that this means fans/members of a visiting football team.

Clean tidy room... comfy beds... hot and lovey food.... friendly staff and very helpful from the moment we checked in till the minute we checked out.. great price for a last minute booking... would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends...

Short walk from the station, in a good location for the town centre. Felt a bit worn out, the hotel, not me, fairly quiet and a bit drab. Staff were all helpful, polite and efficient. Wandered around the town for food, finally chose an Italian, but could not get a table as they were closing, it was 8pm, a quiet night in Ipswich? Ate at hotel instead, it was just food, nothing to write home about, hot and well presented but a bit ordinary.

We made a booking at Novotel Ipswich through Booking.com and had made a mistake on the booking so arrived with no booking for our 2 children! The staff were so helpful and despite it being our mistake they kindly upgraded us and sorted out extra beds for our small children. Really lovely experience with all the staff there who were so helpful and kind. It was much appreciated. Steve, kevi, and friendly Geoff who was running the breakfast!

This hotel is well located on the edge of the town centre and also close to the marina. It has its own carpark.|The hotel was clean. The room was a good size and we found the staff to be all very professional and pleasant.|Our only disappointment was that there was no European red wine in the bar, most unusual for a French chain hotel.
