Not sure what the bad reviews are about, but my experience was amazing! Came here as part of my Hen do and Kelly done a lovely chocolate back massage and facial. She was very accommodating and very respectful - 100% will be booking again soon ? Thank you for making my day a good one.

One of our favourite spas to visit. It is a lovely spa space to relax. Warm area with seating and tables and a pool that you can walk into. There's also a Steam, Sauna and Jacuzzi. The eating area in the hotel has all been upgraded and is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The food we ordered- 2 soups, which came with two small heated rolls, and a large ham sandwich between us, which came in brown bread with a little lettuce and tomato and crisps was more than enough for us. The barman is very polite and welcoming and we always pre book our food so we get more time in the spa area. Treatments are suited to your requirements and staff are great. All at a reasonable price. If book another spa experience on the day to be taken within 6 months you usually get a loyalty discount- we always do.

Had an absolutely lovely spa afternoon with a friend. No treatments were available, but didn't feel we were missing out by not having one.
The pool is a good size for a swim if you want, or just to hang out in. Steam room and sauna are good sizes and the place wasn't over crowded - loungers and chairs available.
Staff could not have been more friendly or helpful.
Highly recommend and we will visit again ?

Not the cleanest of spas, more like a really run down leasure centre. People walking thru pool access with outdoor shoes on, staff just generally uninterested.
Booked thru Groupon but hidden add ons by hotel once you get there and their explanation.... hotel policy.

We came yesterday as part of a living social half day spa entry offer, and while yes this wasn't expensive, I expect service to be the same standard as if we had paid full price. If what we received was the same, then the staff need lessons on customer service. The bad experience started a week before arrival when the health club manager manager replied to my email rather rudely, then when I replied explaining I had been told something different on the phone he just didn't respond at all. On arrival, the 2 girls on reception wanted to finish their personal conversation before acknowledging us then literally asked for my booking name and just handed us forms to fill in without as much as a smile. We filled in and handed back to again no conversation, I said that we hadn't been before so unsure of where to go, and the girl just pointed. Once in the changing rooms, the floor was dirty, with alot of the lockers out of use. Then once poolside there were broken loungers, and far too many people in my opinion for thr space available. No seats or loungers available for us to sit on. We were meant to be there 3 hours but actually left after 50 minutes. We then after getting changed requested 2 teas and 2 cakes (part of the offer), handed 2 take away cups and muffins in wrappers. We were going to sit and relax but felt like we were being rushed out. I requested sugar for my tea to be told we've put 1 in already, well I would like more than 1 if that's okay with you? We sat for 10 minutes while we looked at Google maps at where we needed to go then left without being told thankyou for coming, goodbye or anything. Extremely disappointed. What should have been a long over due child free date day was just a very miserable experience.

It would have been one star but the massage was ok . The pool area is overcrowded and dirty. The showers in the ladies changing room were dirty with blocked drains. Keys missing from most of the lockers and broken missing locks. Stains on all 3 robes. There was an empty tissue box on the wall and an empty wet costume roll. Men leaving the sauna jumping straight into jacuzzi without showering ?. The room I was given for treatment #5 was next to the changing room door and was very loud . Doors banging, loud talking.. not relaxing at all. These spa days are cheap but even at £59 it was not worth the price. Unpleasant experience we will not be repeating.

Myself and my friend got a voucher for 2 treatments plus access to spa for the day plus a glass of Prosecco.
Lovely pool, beds VERY uncomfortable. There’s just no comfortable way of lying on them. Hot stone massage and foot massage were amazing!
Steam room was broken which was disappointing. Still enjoyed ourselves regardless.
Overall would probably return.
