I have been a member at this club for several years. The staff are all really approachable and always go the extra mile to help where they can. You can see how hard they work to make customers happy. Me and my children are always met with a smile when we come in to the gym. My children also have had swimming lessons from a very young and have made great progress in both confidence and ability.

We spent the summer with no aircon, and temperatures in the gym getting close to 30C.

Now in the winter they leave the vents open, it was 12C this morning, you need to layer up just use the gym, gloves also recommended as the barbells are freezing.

Plus the the usual bad maintenance, cable machine out of order for weeks and weeks. Leg extension jammed so can adjust for leg length.

It's a shame as the location is great, the gym has huge window looking out over the woods, gym staff are knowledgeable and friendly. But overall not a good advert for Nuffield Health, I'd think twice about getting any private medical treatment through them if they run private health like they run gyms.

I recently joined and Im satisfied with the gym, swimming pool, and sauna – they’re clean, well-maintained, and everything seems to be working as it should. However, the showers and changing rooms are in need of serious attention.

There’s mould on the ceiling, cracked tiles, dust in the vents, rusty pipes, and the showerheads are not properly fixed. Additionally, the soap dispensers aren’t secured properly. These might seem like small issues, but collectively, they make a big difference to the overall experience.

I’ve used several Nuffield facilities before, and they’ve always been premium health clubs. Unfortunately, this particular location doesn’t meet the usual standard. Addressing these concerns wouldn’t require a huge investment but would significantly improve the experience and likely attract more members in the long run. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration.

My child swims at Farnborough and thoroughly enjoys her lessons, the teachers are amazing, kind and have helped her develop her love of swimming.
The staff are welcoming and helpful on the front of house. The managers are friendly and helpful.

My children have loved swimming lessons at this Club, initially they were nervous but after a few lessons with Caroline they really started to progress.
Only 6 to a class which means each child has more time with the instructor 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Similar to what others have said, they have a strong smell of mould and patches of mould in the changing rooms and steam room. Given that it's £67/month for membership, cancelled after the first month as it's just run down. Would be happy to use it again if they give it a proper clean and refurb, which is just sad as years ago it was a really nice place to come. Hope the management see this and do something about it as they're losing business, that could easily be avoided. (The staff are friendly but deserve a better facility to run!).

Nice gym and convenient for me, but scored lowly as it needs investment in facilities : the air-conditioning barely works so I avoid on a hot day, pool seems frequently closed for repairs, some parts of the changing rooms are a bit mouldy, you still have to access the turnstiles using a card (rather than an app). Friendly staff, doing a good job in the absence of investment in the club from what I can only suspect is a poorly managed or cash strapped head office.

Poor management very difficult to end your contract unwilling to negotiate when they close the pool closed and wanting to suspending your contract being advised that we don’t do that you can go to another pool /gym but there’s no discount given for this period of time for the inconvenience of having to travel further
