Great place to eat and enjoy drinks. Been here many times, for breakfast, afternoon drinks and evening meal. The service here is really good, very friendly, very prompt. You definitely get the feeling the staff want to give you a memorable experience. Food is excellent, the eggs Benedict is lovely for breakfast. Evenings you can have tapas or a main course - either is gorgeous! You really can't go wrong here. Great service. Great Food. Great Atmosphere 👍👍👍

Really good menu, the food was brilliantly presented and tasted so good. Superb calamari and fresh cod (the chilli butter was delicious).

The wine list was reasonable and offered a variety, we had the Italian Pinot Grigio which was lovely with the fish.

Went here for lunch. It didn't advertise parking but there was parking around the back. Although on a slope there were no steps to get to the front entrance, which was also wheelchair friendly. Once inside it has a cosy atmosphere. The staff were attentive without being over the top. Drink order was taken quite quickly and he would have come back for the food order, but we had already decided! Lunch was delicious and served without too much of a wait. The atmosphere was calm even though it was quite busy.

This was always our go to place for breakfast but unfortunately we won't be returning. New management and new ordering system means they will not swap any items for your breakfast dishes. In the past I have always been able to do this here and it made the place a bit more personal, now they were completely inflexible, therefore we will be going somewhere else where they are happier to be a bit flexible. There was a large table next to us who wanted some cake with their coffees only to be told they weren't allowed to eat cake at that time in the morning! What used to be a friendly local cafe now isn't so friendly!

Went here today for breakfast with my son, after reading some reviews on here beforehand I was a little unsure on what to expect but we had a lovely time. The service was fantastic, very pleasant checking we were OK but without hoovering over. The food arrived quite quickly and was lovely and grated amount and quality for the price. Will definitely be coming back.

Our first time here ,absolutely lovely place great staff and manager .A very friendly welcoming place. The only let, down was only min̈or and the puddings were not brilliant, I had the Turkish Delight Cheesecake, which I was really looking forward to but was overpowered by too much rose water, my wife had a bread and butter panettone this was not great. One of the tapas dishes the chicken was a little bit undercooked. Now please anyone seeing this review, my wife was in catering at the local airforce base in the officer's mess ,so we expect high standards from such a restaurant, which is fantastic for anything else, drinks were brilliant, service was excellent and the remaining Tapas every dish was full of wonderful flavours especially the calamari ,maybe slightly smaller portions on the Tapas, because each tapas dish was extremely generous i do recommend this restaurant and we feel with a little tweaking it would be one of the best restaurants in the area. So please only take the critical bit as constructive criticism .Definitely be back again

Seems to have changed with odd new policies. Not allowed to swap anything on the full English, I asked to remove beans and to add an extra hash brown or a piece of toast which I have done in the past but was told you can only take stuff on and purchase extras. Very odd. And then the Ruben’s we ordered doesn’t come with fries or salad due to it being “large”… but then coming out on a side plate and looking quite small…. I don’t know. It seems that the value has gone and is now very over priced for what you get. Used to come a lot but probably not any more. Such a shame. Food was lovely but £45.00 for two sandwiches and drinks seems over the top.
