I stayed at Nutshell Cottage for 4 nights whist visiting family in the area. I was greeted by the smell of a delicious vegetarian full English breakfast daily. Carole gave me tips for local places to visit and eat. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Nutshell Cottage and would recommend to anyone. The wi-fi is also great. I hope to visit again soon! Stayed for 4 nights in the single room attending a course at the Cider Academy in Hartpury. I enjoyed a very comfortable stay which met all my expectations. The breakfast was good and the room was fine. Carole's dogs are a real charm too. Some lovely countryside around for evening trail running too. Will stay again and would recommend.

Nutshell Cottage is an a wonderful place to stay. Carole is a great host - warm, friendly, professional, interesting,a talented artist and jam maker! (which you can have as part of your breakfast, my favourite was golden plum). Carole does everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.|| The house itself is beautiful, clean and well organised as are the guest rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the room provided everything I needed - desk, drawers, tea/coffee making facilities, wardrobe, tv, comfy chair. Bathroom facilities were excellent as was the shower.||Breakfast menu has good variety and there is a fridge where you can store food for lunches etc. (which I found very handy!)||The cottage is in a good location and is very convenient for visiting Hartpury College.||In terms of value you definitely wouldn't be able to beat it. I have not found another Bed and Breakfast/ Hotel anywhere of such a high standard with extremely competitive rates.||I should also mention the other two large and long haired hosts Leyla and Aesha! Two lovely afghan pups full of character and affection, they really made my stay and helped calm extreme exam nerves!||By the end of my stay I felt like nutshell was a second home. If you're visiting the area for business, leisure or Hartpury College STAY HERE! You won't find better.

I regularly stay with Carole and I'm always made to feel welcome. The B&B is a real home from home. The bedrooms are comfortable and very well equipped and everything is kept immaculate. The breakfast is to die for, especially the pancakes! I always look forward to staying at Nutshell Cottage and highly recommend!

I stayed for one week, while attending the nearby Cider an Perry Academy, got a really nice welcome by Carole and enjoyed a real cosy stay, with great breakfast, real sweet dogs. I used the single room, which was just anything you hope for, nice and warm, a good bed and enough place to keep all the things you need. This really feels like home! Carole and Steve, thank you!

My daughter plays lacrosse at national level, so her training sessions were held at Hartpury college (just down the road). My wife chose this B&B for us to stay in whilst my daughter is training. I had seen pictures, and it looked ok, but pictures can often be misleading. NOT THIS TIME, the owner (Carole) is amazing, she is so customer driven, the B&B is absolutely beautiful, and so clean too. There are two dogs in the house, (Afghan hounds) They are beautiful too. Even though the B&B is next to a main road, its quiet through the night, I always sleep really well when I stay there as does my daughter.||||Breakfast is something else, please try the american pancakes, they are out of this world. ||||Sadly training is much closer to my home next season, but I am trying to persuade the powers that be to move training back to Hartpury so I can go back.||||Seriously, if you want somewhere relaxing, clean and warm at an affordable price with friendly people (and dogs) then look no further than "Nutshell cottage", I will return one day soon I hope. I stayed at Nutshell Cottage for a week while attending a course nearby. I had a double bedroom with en-suite loo/shower. The room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. Walking distance to a pub with good food on most nights.||Breakfast was terrific every day and the choice was good too.||Carole, my host was very welcoming - could not have been more helpful.||Just right...!

I spent 6 days across two business visits recently and found everything to be really good. Lovely breakfast, lots of choice, rooms nice and the host Carole is both professional and friendly. This was my second year of staying at Nutshell and I would not hesitate to book again, not to mention it's great value as well 👍🏾.
