I recently stayed in this beautifully converted stable in the countryside, and it was absolutely fantastic. The property itself was cozy, well-maintained, and offered great amenities, including a pool table, sauna, and hot tub, making it perfect for relaxation and entertainment. The surroundings were picturesque, with lovely views and plenty of opportunities for walks and exploring the area.

Neil was incredibly responsive and welcoming, going out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed. I also got to meet (and walk) his adorable dog, Roxy, who added an extra touch of charm and joy to my stay.

This location is ideal, with some excellent local pubs and restaurants just a short drive away. The combination of comfort, fun amenities, and beautiful scenery made for a perfect getaway. I will return with the whole family next time!

Lovely cottage and fantastic host. Fun to have the pool table inside, plus the sauna and bubble pool outside. Countryside and proximity to interesting places to visit is great.
Check for 3 day open air music festivals in the area - difficult or great depending on your preference....
We will be coming back.

What a fabulous weekend. Myself and my boyfriend stayed for 3 nights. It was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed and more. The hot tub and sauna were lovely too. Neil was a lovely host . Thank you we will definitely be coming back ?

What can I say me and hubby stayed for three nights it was beautiful. The accommodation was so nice lots of beautiful thoughtful touches it was so cosy and relaxing.
The bed was huge !!
The hot tub and sauna were a lovely touch we enjoyed every minute of our time in them. The surroundings are so peaceful and relaxing .
We had food delivered with no issues at all but also cooked a couple of times.
I honestly would go back again . The host made us feel welcome he also left us to enjoy our stay .
We had no issues whilst staying everything was spot on .

Absolutely loved staying here, complete relaxation, room and living area were immaculate and clean. Very spacious. The owner was extremely friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning.

I stayed her with a couple of friends for my birthday. We were looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend away and we were not disappointed. The Cottage is in a beautiful location and makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but everything is a short distance away. The Cottage was stunning and better than we imagined from the pictures. The hot tub and sauna were a great addition and really made our stay extra special. The owner is a lovely guy and was very welcoming and helpful. We couldn't have asked for more from our stay and would highly recommend this accomodation.

This place is absolutely AMAZING! The owner is such a great guy, helps you when you need it & leaves you to enjoy your get away. The stables spotlessly clean. I have been twice in 2 weeks (It is that good!) I love the log fire hot tub, it’s a great touch along with the Sauna ? We really enjoyed the pool table and there are even good pool cues to play with. I cannot say enough good things x

We have a very nice stay at Oak Tree Stables, using it as a base for visiting family for the first time in ages. It is a very comfortable little place, with really nice amenities (a private hot tub & sauna, with a large outdoor table and seat set). The Wifi is quick and the smart TV is great for the evening with kids. It is in a nice isolated rural setting. The heating is very effective and the host is really friendly & helpful.

Would highly recommend for couples, small groups or families, we will almost certainly stay here again at some point.
