Lovely visit. Lynne and Ian are great host. Lynne is a good cook with excellent food presentation. The room was spacious and it is so quiet. Also spotlessly clean. Agree with other comments about accepting the lift to and from Offa’s Dyke - especially if you have just walked the Switchbacks from Knighton.

Had a wonderful few days here. Lynne is a fantastic host and the accommodations are first rate. Great room, amazing views, wonderful hosts. Off the beaten track so not a lot of options for dining out, but to be expected for rural Wales.

Huge thank you to Lynne for making us so welcome! We arrived to homemade cake & tea in front of a roaring fire (a wet and windy day in June!) in the guest lounge. The fabulous home cooked evening meal was delicious, as was breakfast. Great room. Views from windows over a beautiful garden and rolling countryside. Highly recommend- sort of place you could have an extended stay in order to explore the area.

After what many describe as the hardest day on the Offa's Dyke Path (Knighton northwards), we were relieved to be met by bubbly Lynne at Cwm chapel. From then until leaving Cwm again the next morning, we were looked after magnificently well. |A magnificent view over the valley, tea in our own lounge, a great big bedroom with very comfortable bed and lovely shower, delicious home-cooked dinner and breakfast, and very generous packed lunch for the next day - we could not have imagined anything more or better!|We would heartily encourage others to enjoy the luxury of staying at Oakley B&B.

After a tough leg on Offas Dyke, we got to Oakley B and B and were met by the charming and delightful Lynne. We were offered a welcoming cup of tea and a slice of cake In the guests own sitting room. what could be better ? The house has the most amazing views of the surrounding countryside. We were shown to our double room and were not disappointed. The room was bigger than expected with a lovely sized en suite bathroom. ||The meal in the evening was home cooked and I could have licked the plate clean. ||Breakfast in the morning was varied and just as delicious as the evening fayre. We also ordered a packed lunch for the hike ahead of us. This packed lunch was also more than sufficient .||In all, Lynne was the ultimate host. ||I would definitely recommend this B and B to anyone .

We stayed here one night while walking the Offa's Dyke Path. Lynne collected us from where we had finished walking for the day and drove us to the accommodation. The house is very well designed to cater for bad & breakfast guests and our room was great. It was very comfortable, had a large bed and a wonderful bathroom. The view from the window was right across the valley in front so was fantastic.||We'd decided to eat out in Bishop's Castle and Lynne acted as out taxi service for a small contribution to a charity.||Breakfast was one of the best I've had with fresh fruit in abundance, cereals and the usual cooked options.||Lynne is an exceptional host and this was one of the best B&B's we've stayed in.

Really nice?, great room, great hosts, fantastic views, as it's away from convenient eateries hosts will cater for evening meals by prior arrangement on booking.

I stayed at Oakley B&B whilst walking Offa's dyke path. Lynne is such a lovely host: smiley and welcoming, inviting us in for tea and cake on arrival! My room was very clean and comfortable with all that I needed and the ensuite bathroom had a bath to soak my aching legs and feet - bliss! The pre-ordered evening meal was all home made and delicious, as was breakfast. ||I have no hesitation in recommending Oakley B&B!
