We stayed here to be closer to work and it’s definitely a hidden gem. The location and the manager Tom were wonderful. The room despite being a really hot day was cool. The room had everything you need inside.There was plenty of parking and food options too. Tom even got plates and cutlery for our take away! The hotel industry needs more Toms! Thank you for everything.

What an amazing B&B! Booked a room for 3 of us short notice as we had to travel down from Greater Manchester to collect my daughter from the local hospital. I arrived exhausted after 6+ hours of driving and the owner, Tom, upgraded us to a 2 room unit downstairs, with no extra charge! The beds were so comfy, cleanliness top class and he also included breakfast in the ridiculously low price. He and his staff were so friendly, helpful and so professional. We could not fault it. I stupidly left my Kindle behind and Tom contacted me to let me know and then posted it on to me. He is a star! The B&B is near to some great eateries and on his advice we had dinner at the nearby Chinese restaurant. Brilliant! If you are looking for a place to say not too far from Heathrow Airport I would recommend The Oakwood.

Fantastic guest house with an exceptional host.||We were greeted by a very welcoming Tom, who was warm, friendly and very informative. He even booked us a cab to the airport for the morning and reminded us of the need to verify whether we needed to pay the ULEZ charge.||The room and en-suite were both spacious and very clean and the bed was super comfortable. ||Unfortunately, our early flight meant we weren't able to sample the breakfast this time, but I have in the past and it is a proper "fry-up" that really does set you up for your flight!||Great location for the airport. Only 10minutes or so by cab to T5 and there is a wide variety of fantastic restaurants very nearby including and 1st class Indian restaurant next door.||Have stayed before and will definitely be back. ||Thank you Tom for a great stay. I stayed here for a single night and found it to be a comfortable and convenient option. The rooms are small, but considering the price and location, it’s perfectly fine. Everything was clean, including the rooms and the toilet, which is always a big plus.

The host was helpful and welcoming, making the stay even better. The area is generally quiet, though there might be some noise at times due to the nearby pub. Parking in front is limited, but you can find on-street parking without too much trouble. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, which is great for dining options.

Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely recommend it for a short stay!

Perfect for a short or long stay, it’s clean, nice environment, quiet and lots of food places and shops nearby. All staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Hotel manager (Tom?) even gave me a lift to west drayton train station, as I had injured my hand the previous night. I was also upgraded to a room including a desk as he asked if I was studying at the time. Ever so grateful, thank you all!!

What a great place to stay!

We had an early flight out of Heathrow so opted to stay in this wonderful, family run BnB. This wasn't my first time, nor will it be my last.

Our host, Tom, gave us a warm, friendly welcome and was full of useful information about [very] local restaurants on arrival. He also offered to book us a cab to the airport in the morning to save us the trouble.

The room was spacious and clean, as was the en-suite bathroom. The bed was really comfortable and we both had a great and quiet night's sleep.

Sadly we didn't get to sample the full English breakfast due to an early flight, but I have had it in the past and it is truly exceptional!

The BnB is really well situated if you are flying out of Heathrow. Our taxis ride was only around 10minutes to T5 and there is a wide variety of restaurants very close by including an excellent Indian next door and a great grill just a few minutes away.

I would absolutely recommend this little gem and will be back for sure!

The room was quiet and had nice, retro-style decor and everything was very comfortable. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag if you have just come in from Heathrow or to stay if you are travelling near South London. The manager was very helpful and informative about travel routes and local shops.

We loved our stay at oakwood bed and breakfast!!! The gentleman that welcomed us in was so kind and gave us great recommendations on food around the area, and helped us with our departing transportation for our morning flights!! Oakwood is also a quick bus ride and 1 minute walk to and from heathrow which is what we did.
We also got to chat with him and his father for a bit before bed and it made me so happy to have such a wonderful conversation with both of them 😊 i will definitely stay here agin on our future trips to London!! Thank you so much for the lovely stay.
