The hotel was in a good location. It was clean and comfortable and although it doesn't have a reception. Staff were contactable by phone. ||Their customer service is first class.||We will definitely return. The hotel had all we needed and nothing was too much trouble.||The bed was extremely comfortable too.

Basic hotel, with no staff on site. No luggage store, which is penalising those travelling to Plymouth sustainably.

Rooms appear clean at first glance. However, that's superficial as there is plenty of dust all over, so if you have any allergies, asthma, or sensitivities, you may find it hard to breathe. Opening windows can only help a little due to people smoking outside.

Handy to the town centre, comfy and warm. Self contained room with a kitchenette and bathroom.

We stayed here for a week in a room with a small kitchenette. We had everything that we needed for simple meals and the room and bathroom were well equipped and clean. We could have done with a little more clothes storage but then we had come for a week! The hotel is well situated for exploring Plymouth without needing a car. It is within easy walking distance of The Hoe, the Barbican, the City Centre, Royal Parade for buses and the railway station.

Not their fault but biggest hassle was paying for parking! Absolute nightmare.

Exceptional standards, this is my forth time I’ve stopped there and I’ve never been let down, Barry the manager goes above and beyond and nothing is to much trouble to make your stay comfortable. It is so clean and the standards are so high I won’t stay anywhere else, I would recommend Ocean Stays to anybody and I’ve just booked up again for next year. It’s literally two minutes from Plymouth Hoe and I would say five minutes into the town centre. I would give my stay a 10 out of 10 I would recommend this place to anybody. A big THANKYOU to management and cleaners for making our stay so pleasant.

Good location, quick walk into town.

Waited over ten minutes to get access to our room due to not being sent any checking in details. No staff on hand to help. The room itself was filthy, and not prepared for our arrival. Escorts had people coming in and out throughout the night. We were given the wrong room, a tiny room without seating area as described. We were however, changed rooms on the second night but it ruined the stay a little bit.

Once this was sorted, we were more than thrilled with our stay.

Lovely room with comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean throughout. Plenty of towels for our stay. Room had iron and ironing board, hair dryer, microwave, dishes, cutlery, kettle, tea, coffee and milk with a small mini fridge. Everything you would need was provided for. Hotel arranged our parking permit before we arrived.

Great location. Will definitely return.
