First time here (I got a voucher as a gift) but it won’t be my last. Booking process was really smooth. Friendly welcome and nice spa. The treatment was lovely, one of the best back massages I’ve had in a while and I go to a lot of spas. Chelsea was brilliant, so professional, she certainly knew what she was doing, but very friendly too, I felt very relaxed. It’s been a very difficult few months and this was exactly what I needed. I’d throughly recommend. Unpretentious, relaxed and very talented therapists.

What an experience! I went for the Yummy Mummy package at 35 weeks pregnant, and I have never experienced anything like it before. The most relaxed massage ever. I would highly recommend. A massive thanks to Aimee for making it the most comfortable experience, she made me feel at ease straight away(felt nervous at first as I was in a new place with strangers etc) however it was the most chilled 2 hours ever. Lovely atmosphere as soon as you step in the door, and all the staff I spoke to were so lovely! Definitely coming back after baby is born, would like to try some of the different treatments 😍

I don't even know where to start....I'm just out of my pregnancy spa day and I can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful and best experiences!
The pregnancy massage was done on a water bed and I felt weightless, best massage I've ever ever had, I fell asleep during my pedicure and my facial was heavenly. I really felt looked after.
The lady who treated me (Ailsa) was a dream. I cant recommend the yummy mummy package enough!

I'm giving 2 stars because the girls at the spa were friendly.
Unfortunately my experience it's one that I will not repeat.
I got gifted a spa pedicure and an Indian Head Massage.
The spa part of the pedicure was nice, but the pedicure itself was painful and once got home it didn't survive the shower. The colour just drained away. Poor quality.
The Indian Head Massage started nicely, but it gradually became uncomfortable as the girl assigned to me kept scratching my scalp with her long nails. It was so painful and I tried to resist and be polite, but it was really uncomfortable and once home I washed my head with disinfectant shampoo as I never experienced an head massage where the lady doesn't use gloves.
Gloves are a must when dealing with clients at a spa, especially if one has long nails and not soft hands.
I can't comment about the cleanliness of the place as it was dark in the room, but the towel to me smelled bad, like of someone else body sweat...
It was a terrible experience.
I will not be back.

Took my friend for a massage for her birthday, both loved it.

Staff were really helpful and explained why my shoulders/neck were so tight. It was a deep tissue massage so there was a bit of discomfort but I felt so much better afterwards.

Plus the cafe and the canal are always nice to visit! Thanks Ocho ✨

My review relates to the Luxury Pamper Package, which I was gifted by my partner and which comprised two treatments plus a two course lunch with bubbles. The treatments were good by Lena, so my rating is more about the pamper package and specifically the two course bubbles lunch. The choices of courses were: starters - tomato soup or mushroom soup. The main courses, cheese and tomato toastie, or chorizo toastie. If you went for main and dessert, dessert choices were empire biscuit or millionaire shortbread. Talk about misrepresentation. Yes, you could have two courses, but the "bubbles" conjures up something a little more than what you'd have for lunch if your weekly shop had run out. The girl serving did say there was a limited menu running....and they were also looking for a new chef. This all being the case then we should have been informed. What was supposed to be a nice lazy "pamper' lunch with bubbles would have been better spent at the local caff. On the quality of the food, the millionaire shortbread was good. The tomato soup was I think sadly packet as it was very watery. The cheese and tomato toastie could have done with some cheese in it. It's a bit of a shame as someone buying this pamper voucher as a gift would be mortified to know what was on offer.

Second time going here. Amazing. Lovely treatments. Girls are friendly and informative if you want to try new treatments. Place is tastefully decorated. And has a lovely calming feel to it. Prices are what you expect for facials etc. Not ridiculous. You can have a week express facial for under £40 to have a try out. But there is no rushing you. Definitely going back again... and again.
