I wanted to treat my mum to a spa getaway because she deserves it. I had stayed here before with my partner and loved so was eager to go back. Once again I was not disappointed the reception staff provided a warm welcome and catered to our many needs. At dinner Diana and Flavias service was faultless and very attentive we even got desserts delivered to our room as we had eaten far too much. The dinner was absolutely lovely and the canoli dessert was the best I’ve tasted and mum is Italian ! . Lastly but I’m no means least was the spa and the massages we both went for the rose melt massage I had Sophie mum had Bee and we both very pleased. Sophie provided he with the best massage I’ve ever had. Thank you all for making our stay a very memorable one x

I have just come back from a weekend break for my partner’s birthday, we’ve stayed at your hotel a few times in the past, and the food and service has always been good. There were a few problems this time however.|| ||We arrived for lunch and I asked for the piccalilli in the cheese sandwich to be changed for salad or something and was told abruptly that the sandwiches couldn’t be changed, so I had a plain cheese sandwich. The “triple cooked chips” in the restaurant were anaemic and soft, both nights. The steak was chewy.|| ||In the morning, I had a vegetarian breakfast, which included of an overcooked sausage, and small piece of tomato. The “butter” on the table was actually margarine, and I was told it was butter when I questioned it. They also ran out of croissants. The second morning I just asked for mushrooms, tomatoes and scrambled egg, but the tomatoes were missing. || ||On my partner’s birthday dinner, she had the cod, which had a big hair running though it which put her completely off any food so she had no main course. The tomato starter was missing the olive tapenade on the second day (as a vegetarian I had the same starter both days, there was only one I could have, despite there being three on the menu on the website) I had the souffle both nights too, which was uninspiring.|| ||So all in all very disappointing, especially as it was a special occasion, and it ruined the stay really. The standard of food and service was no where near what we’ve been used to. Having spent over £1600 for two nights I feel that we didn’t get anywhere near what we could have expected for the price, and we certainly won’t be back . I sent a complaint in, and have had no response in 3 weeks.

Gorgeous old place with lovely comfortable rooms. The food is delicious from the extensive breakfast to the a la carte evening meal. A fabulous spa with lots of treatments on offer and a pool, jacuzzi and steam rooms. All the staff were excellent and very helpful and friendly.|Ockenden Manor is based in a gorgeous village. I would highly recommend staying here. We enjoyed every minute

Great quiet area . Lovely out door pool and jacuzzi outside . Nice touch ! And heated , so great for a winter cosy break . |Good facilities around pool area . Had a great massage with hot stones ! Great therapist took in account my needs as this was needed! Food in hotel great really fresh had scotch egg , cheese board .

The staff are the friendliest and always have a welcoming smile. There is always someone on hand to assist with luggage etc. We thoroughly look forward each year (sometimes we visit twice a year) to our stay. The spa staff are superb. During treatment they are always checking to see whether sufficient pressure is being used and if there is a particular spot that needs more attention. The sauna and steam areas are always spotless and there are numerous towels and bathrobes always available.

A beautiful setting in the Sussex countryside. The spa bedrooms offer beautiful views. Loved the swimming pool. A great location for our work event. We were excellently looked after by Russell and his team. Planning to come back before too long!

Lovely overnight stay and spa, food and service were excellent.
Spa was clean and didn't feel over subscribed which was nice for our stay.
The room we stayed in was a Labyrinth with proper character in the old part of the house, very enjoyable.
Would happily return again.

Such a beautiful setting for a relaxing getaway! Ockenden Manor has perfectly manicured lawns which looked at their absolute best in this sunshine. The dining room has large doors that open onto these lawns and the view was spectacular, which I enjoyed both for my evening meal and for breakfast. The spa facilities as well as the massage were amazing, the food delicious and above all what stood out for me was the professionalism of the staff. I was made to feel very welcome and every member of staff seemed interested and attentive. I was impressed with the attention to detail too such as homemade biscuits in the room (very tasty). I will definitely be back and will keep my fingers crossed that I can enjoy its beauty again in the sunshine.
