I've stayed in hundreds of bed and breakfasts over the years, mainly on long distance walks, offas dyke cottage is one of the best. It's on the walk, the owners are fantastic, the rooms are lovely, the garden is beautiful and the food is good. You can have bith evening meal and breakfast. Cant think of anything bad to say.

So glad to have found this place just off Offa's Dyke. A taste of luxury (compared to the hiking at least), beautiful and serene surroundings and a lovely welcome. Food was good too, if a tad expensive for the evening meal. Thanks!

After a very difficult hike from Knighton, Offa dyke Cottage was an oasis. Everything was perfect from the greeting by Adrian and the dinner and breakfast by Diane. They have thought of every detail to make you stay perfect and relaxing. Count yourself lucky if you manage to book here

Diane and Adrian really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and spoiled us with roaring fires after a soggy days walk. The place feels brand new and there are some lovely touches like the cut glass decanter of sherry in the room?. Perfect walking food and plenty of it and an excellent selection of beers, wine and soft drinks available too. A really treat.

My brother-in-law and myself stayed here recently during our Offa's Dyke walk. Diane is the perfect host with a wicked sense of humour! The lovely property is set in a beautiful and tranquil location. We had a superb evening meal and the breakfast equally brilliant. The only downside is that we only stayed for one night, something I intend to rectify next year by staying for several days.
Thanks again Diane for a wonderful and restful stay which powered us forward on our long walk!

This has to be the best B&B on Offa's Dyke. So glad we stayed here for the warm welcome, superb room with every comfort you can imagine. The freshly home cooked meal was delicious with plenty of fresh vegetables, most welcome after a week of pub food. The breakfast was equally enjoyable, served in the gorgeous Sun Room with views over the pond and countryside. Advise you do not miss staying here, it really is exceptional.
