We stayed at the Old Barn for a family wedding close by and it was a lovely cozy cottage just perfect for our 2 night stay.|Lovely and clean with super comfy beds and Lizzie was really helpful and accommodating.|We particularly enjoyed the wood burner which was ideal for the cold nights.

My friend and I spent 3 nights at Old Barn, its was a great weekend! The barn is lovely, immaculately clean, very well furnished and well equipped: Lizzie has though of everything, great attention to detail. The kitchen/dining area has everything you could possible need. The bedrooms are spacious with great views over the beautiful garden or the neighbouring farm, and again well equipped. It is within walking distance of the village, with a great pub on the way. There is a lovely canal next to the farm, great place for a walk on the tow path, with a pub on the way !! The owners are very friendly and helpful, they live next door but do not disturb you! I would highly recommend this beautiful place!

We had a 3 night stay at the Old Barn @ Peel Farm, and it was exactly as described. Great setting, close to the canal which was a lovely walk to go on with the dog, and back through the local village of Whittington. We were in the area for a wedding at Coton House Farm, and this was an ideal place to stay as it's just a short walk to the venue.

We stayed here for one night on the 23rd of August and i can honestly not do this place justice through a review. We were a party of 2 adults and 1 child who wanted somewhere to stay close to Drayton Manor as we had visited for the day. ||Upon arrival we were welcomed by the owner who was welcoming and instantly made you felt comfortable, we were shown inside to a beautiful fully fitted kitchen and open plan living area which has everything you could possibly need for a self catering stay. Upstairs we had both bedrooms, one of which was set out as a single room and the other as a good sized double. The rooms were immaculately clean and you can tell the owner takes a pride in what she does as the decor is also beautiful. Good sized bathrooms in either of the rooms which have recently been refurbished in August 2014. ||The accommodation is in such a peaceful location with enough local amenities to get by for a longer stay (there are two pubs in the village and also a Co-op for any bits and pieces you may need for self catering). We ate at one of the local pubs (The Dog Inn) which was recommended by the owner and we were not disappointed, home cooked food and portion sizes are good enough for even the biggest appetite. We would not hesitate to return and certainly would recommend the accommodation to anyone considering a stay here. ||||Thank you for a lovely stay and we hope to see you again. ||||(Also we did take a couple of photos but i feel they do not do the place justice so have not added them to the review.)

Stayed in the old barn for 4 nights with family. The accommodation is clean and the bedrooms were a reasonable size. Both bedrooms have an en-suite. There were 6 of us staying and Lizzie also provided an air bed. The lounge and kitchen area are great for entertaining. The location is great, nice and peaceful and a short walk to the Dog Inn or the Bell Inn for drinks and food.

We stayed here for a week with friends. This is a well kept and presented two bedroom cottage. Each bedroom has its own ensuite, with an excellent shower etc. The lounge/kitchen/dining area is large and comfortable.|This is one of the nicest places we have rented.|Lizzie was friendly, and helpful. |There is ample parking|The free wifi was good, and catered well for our needs|It was a pleasant surprise to find things like washing up liquid dish clothe etc., provided as well as salt pepper tea coffee and sugar|An extensive range of crockery and cutlery, as well as pots pans, oven tins provided.|I highly recommend this cottage to stay.|There is lots to do in the area, but the National Aboretum Memorial was the most memorable. Don't make the mistake in thinking this all about the armed forces. It has memorial gardens to several other of our public and private services.

What can I say about this beautiful accommodation? We stayed as a family for 8 nights. The house has a beautiful cottage and homely feel and the family who own it couldn't do enough for us. It has a beautiful log burner for the winter and everything that we could have wanted was inside the house, including things like a high chair and stair gate for our little one. We loved the horses that are on site and the fact that our dogs were welcome to stay too. It is close to some lovely walks and other things to do. We can't recommend enough and actually didn't want to leave. We hope to return very soon.

I can highly recommend Peel Farm and it would be my first choice to stay there again in the future. I tried a number of other B&B's and hotels in the area and from my experience, Peel Farm is by far the best! It's in a quiet location and just a short drive to Lichfield. I'd say it is great for families, couples or excellent as an alternative to a hotel if travelling on business.

It was my home from home for a number of weeks when I needed to stay close to Lichfield. Whittington is a lovely village and I particularly enjoyed walks with my dog along the canal, which runs alongside.

The accommodation is modern, stylish and extremely spacious with a lovely homely feel. It's also spotlessly clean. There's two beautifully presented bedrooms upstairs and a large dining-living room downstairs, plus secure parking. The owners are also friendly and welcoming.

I was really impressed and thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hence my recommendation.
