I recently visited the Old Hill Cafe for breakfast and, to be honest, it was quite average. The bacon and toast were the highlights. However, the rest of the experience left much to be desired.
The ambiance was odd, with an uncomfortable level of quiet and no background music or heating. I'm not sure if I'd return in the future.

Old hill cafe need to learn how to cook a proper sandwich 19 pound and it was anemic bacon barely cooked and egg was raw .waste of money gave it the dog ! Old lady with no manners . How are you still open 🤮

Mostly order on a Sunday from here and all ways been so happy with my im order well from getting in today was like no other but just look at the way my potato turned up safe to say I won’t be ordering again! Nothing inside and charged all that money!

This is the worst cafe I have ever been to in my life. Lady serving looks like she don't want to be there and is miserable I couldn't wait to get out I felt that uncomfortable. The breakfast sandwichs me or my partner didn't eat. sausages no flavour at all bread was soggy it was awful actually that bad I don't think I could even eat a breakfast sandwich again has put me off. Defiantly should consider getting someone else to be serving, at the end of the day we can't all be wrong!!

my son ordered food from here today I had scrambled egg toast with beans the scrambled egg was 1 blob of egg when I cut into it the egg was grey and looked off I will not be ordering food from here again.

Ordering from here most days believe me when I say my hubby is very fussy about his food this cafe is amazing from the chips to the sandwich everything tastes so fresh prices are very good and he loves ham egg and homemade chips I just want to thank you for your wonderful food and service it's 5 star ⭐⭐ helping my hubby out loads in finding good food whilst I recovering from cancer god bless you all

Great selection of tasty foods, nice cup of tea and tasty cheese on my 1/4 pounder. Chips were brilliant too, nice and crisp but not overdone 😋
