We went to Cerne Abbas and after that we were looking for a cup of tea, and found this nice little place. The owner was very friendly, attentive, and warm welcome. The atmosphere was very homey. We love the fireplace and the food and drink were lovely. We had fruit scones and toasties, which were very delicious. Nice little place to escape on my day off. We will definitely come back.

Staff are very quick and keen to help, very clean, and comfortable place for a meal. We went for an impromptu breakfast and were impressed with the food and welcoming atmosphere.
It's a cosy cafe and nice to be able to chat, read and eat in a calming place.
The Farmhouse Breakfast was top notch, as was the toasted sandwich. Would recommend.

We were staying just along the road on holiday so made a visit here on our last day. The bacon sarnies were delicious and the homemade cakes were amazing! Lots of cakes to choose from, we shared lemon drizzle and courgette and lime cake which was so good! A really lovely tea room, gallery and shop definitely recommend and very reasonably priced. The staff were all really friendly and helpful too we sat outside in the sunshine and they brought us out cushions for our chairs which was so nice of them. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing!

Excellent selection of dinner options and home made treats. I had the ploughman's which was huge and great value for money. They also except well behaved dogs.

The team were wonderful, friendly and accommodating with my 4 year old and her fussiness, they were also engaging with her and making her laugh. It's warm and cosy inside, food was delicious as was the cake! We will come again, thank you 😊

I visited the cafe for first time with my partner this morning and we were impressed. From the very first step the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Amazing atmosphere and excellent food. Highly recommend and we will definitely be going back.

My first visit. Very welcoming, friendly and warm, with an open fire (when I visited, on a "cold winter's night that was so deep"). I only had a (very different, large) mince pie, but will be sure to bring an empty belly next time, as others' plates looked very appetising.

We had noticed posts appear on Facebook from the Old School Gallery, but had never been to Yetminster before and were curious to find out more.
From the moment we opened the door, we were warmly greeted by Alex and the team, as well as other diners and were made to feel very much at home.
The lunch menu was superb, with an extensive list of tempting hearty and unusual soups, quiches etc. I opted for the falafel curry with rice which was delicious.
Throughout the meal, Alex, her Mum and Team were very attentive and the atmosphere of the Old School Gallery was incredible.
I was tempted to a piece of flapjack - no ordinary flapjack and highly recommended.
What an incredible find!
We need to return very soon and wish all at the Old School Gallery the very best as they really deserve it.
