Lovely location very welcoming staff and helpful too. Chef needs a great congrats for a wonderfully tasty chicken and mushroom pie and garden peas that tasted as though they'd been cooked straight from shelling a pod. Good time to go is later afternoon before what I imagine would be an evening rush only this is conjecture not fact. Pay em a visit its well worth it

Love coming to The Vicarage. All 4 of us enjoyed a lovely meal . Very friendly staff. Young lad came to our table to take our order so we didn’t have to queue at the bar. Little bit of a wait for food but it was quite busy. Thank you

Some of our party were delayed so we thought they might miss our annual Christmas get together. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and allowed us to wait for them to arrive before bringing through the meals. The quality of food was really good and the price was very competitive. Our first two choices had been unavailable so the Old Vicarage had initially been one of the only options available but after the quality of service and the quality of the food, it will be our first choice next year!

Our servers were lovely and very attentive without being pushy. Highly recommended!

Lovely pub grub. Order online with multiple options for adding or removing items, or making the meal "light". Very quiet as it was just into the new year.
