We came for a treat night away before exams start and had a most perfect time. From first contact via phone and email, through changing dates, to arrival and for our whole stay Sarah and Eva were so kind. Drinks by the fire, the dog playing ceaselessly in the beautiful garden with Minnie, Sarah's dog, delicious supper and a perfect nights' sleep - we had a lovely stay. Sarah was generous with her beautiful home and a relaxed and a entertaining host. We highly recommend.

On our English Garden Tour last April, we stayed at the Old Whyly and had a wonderful, beautiful and welcoming experience. Though it was a short stay we really enjoyed the lovely house, surroundings and a marvellous English breakfast and we both agreed on returning and bringing our husbands with us the next time!

Old Whyly is a beautiful house surrounded by delightful gardens. It is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing break.
Sarah is an outstanding host and a very talented cook.

We stayed for 3 nights at Old Whyly in May. What a wonderful experience - beautiful and historic property, comfortable and lovely accommodations, and wonderful food. Sarah made us feel right at home - the outside of the property and her gardens were beautiful. The location was quiet, but SO accessible to all the local places we wanted to see. And, we had the extra treat of meeting Sarah's delightful little dog Minnie. Highly recommend and hope to visit again soon.

Old Whyly is a charming, peaceful and stunning hideaway. Tucked in the Sussex countryside you will be made to feel like a guest at a Country House. We highly recommend this B&B for really wonderful hospitality.

We stayed for a night at Old Whyly as part of a hunt for a calm weekend after a very busy time: we found it in spades. The house and grounds are beautiful, and Sarah and Leah looked after us royally. Sarah cooked us a delicious supper, sitting by the fire before and after was lovely and meeting Minnie was an extra bonus. We will definitely be returning (hopefully when the garden is in full pomp). Thank you, all!

Old Whyly is an oasis.
Sarah is a fabulous host and made us feel at home. A truly scrumptious supper and breakfast prepared and cooked by Sarah.
The garden and grounds are stunning, full of interest, beauty and peace with its share of wildlife.

We’ve been coming to Old Whyly for nearly twenty years now. Sarah and Leah make us feel so welcome when we’re staying with them, we feel like part of the family. Our rooms are always spotless, and the breakfast is wonderful. Do be sure to book dinner at least once when you stay, as it’s always delicious. We tend to visit when it’s cold, so a nice drink in the drawing room by the fire is always a highlight. |Many thanks for such wonderful stays over the years!|James and Darlene
