Stayed last November (sorry this is late), for one night. Hosts were very welcoming and really helpful in finding where I had to be the next morning. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was faultless, a great cooked breakfast along with a good selection of fruit, juices etc given that there were only 2 of us staying that night. I can see how they have been given a breakfast award. The location is fantastic, quiet and secluded and I had a great nights sleep. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a room to sleep 4 and found this one. I read the reviews, which were very positive, so I decided to book the room. I can honestly say, I was not disappointed! The hosts were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The room was excellent, well equipped and spotless. The breakfast was fabulous and so much of it. I would definintely recommend this lovely B&B and if I am ever in the area again, I would stay without hesitation!

I've just returned after what was supposedly an overnight stay but ended up being 2 nights due to adverse weather preventing my safe journey back up north. |Robert and Jane were so welcoming, the house was lovely and cosy, and I really couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. A real home from home, Jane welcomed me with a tray of tea and flapjacks. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in so I was secretly delighted when I had to stay for a second night!! The shower was powerful, lots of little touches such as cotton wool pads, toiletries etc. Even a couple of chocolates in the room each night. Delicious, freshly cooked farmhouse breakfast in the morning with plenty of choice, just basically every need catered for while I was there. |This B&B is very deserving of its excellent reputation and I would not hesitate to stay there again if I am in the area. We spent one night in this truly excellent B&B. Far better than what I call the plastic hotels and much better value. Our room was very spacious with an additional bedroom with TV. The bathroom was also spacious with a truly excellent shower. ||||Robert and Jane were very welcoming hosts and made us feel special. Jane cooked us an excellent breakfast with plenty of fruit, cereal and one of the most substantial English breakfasts I’ve had.||||We visit the area two or three times a year and will be staying agin if there is room for us.||||Joanna and Philip

I was looking for a place for an overnight stay with Mum and Jake the dog for a wedding in the area when I found Old Wills Farm, and booked the triple room. The property is lovely, with lots of character, and the room itself was very large with a spacious ensuite. Jayne gave us a very warm welcome and brought us up a tray of tea before we changed to go off to the nearby wedding. We also appreciated the toiletries that were available in the bathroom. We had a key to the door so could let ourselves in whenever we returned (although we actually came back quite early - but it was handy for Jake's midnight perambulation!). Breakfast choice was extensive and the cooked options were done to perfection. There is also a large sitting room for guests and downstairs loo (handy for my elderly Mum). All in all, a very relaxed stay with a home from home feeling ... we would certainly like to stay again.

I stayed here on 9th March, I overshot the driveway so go slow and lookout for this wonderful place. A typical farm house warm and cosy. Had a perfect nights sleep after being told where the local eating places were. Room was spotless tea & coffee, lots of amenity packs, shower gel and such like. Wifi perfect, shower nice and hot. Now for the breakfast. This place has an award for the breakfast and I could see why. Fresh fruit, jams, local honey that you could buy. Hot ranges from full English to beans on toast. I opted for poached eggs. Wonderfully cooked and yoke run out when cut. I feel very full now and would most definitely return.

Excellent accommodation, with every detail making it a home from home experience. The hosts are lovely people; warm and friendly without being intrusive. Cooked breakfast was amazing and very tasty.
There is an old world charm to the whole place which is quite incredible as the building is actually not that old. I will leave your hosts to tell you why this is the case: a fascinating tale in its own right!

Our son got married this weekend. Didn.t fancy staying up the road at the wedding venue. My good lady found this gem and we booked. (she would not take payment and based our booking on total trust, with us paying on departure). We asked to get in early due to the wedding arrangements. This was not a problem. In fact nothing was a problem. The best mattress I have slept on in any hotel/accom. Great breakfast. Spotless accom. Decent genuine people with a decent honest business.I could go on and on. Book here if you want quality, style and a personable host...Don.t book here if you want a soulless mass produced and faceless hotel...Loved our stay..Thank you!
