Just ordered for the first time. Got the goat curry and the jerk chicken and rice for my brother. Lovely stuff. Very good portion sizes. Good price as well. Will be back to try out the fried chicken and chickpea curry also next time!

Edit. Went for the fried chicken and chickpea curry. The chicken has so much flavour!! The chickpea curry is also great. Did me two meals!

We called in on Thursday after finding OliveMae’s Kitchen on Facebook. We were greeted warmly as if we had known each other for ages. Although quiet when we visited the music and ambience were perfect for a lunchtime visit. Our food arrived promptly and piping hot and service with a smile is an understatement!! My wife ordered the large jerk chicken rice and peas whilst I got the medium jerk chicken rice and peas and a portion of the fried chicken. The portions were massive and when we pointed this out the owner laughed and told us she “was known for having heavy hands”!!! The food was well cooked and the flavours were amazing!! We usually travel to Oldham for our jerk chicken fix but we have now found a firm favourite here so much so that we ordered Curry Goat and Chickpea Curry to take out for lunch the following day. If you love your Caribbean food this is the place you need to visit. We cannot wait to return.

After much deliberation of all the stalls in Hebden bridge market, I chose to get goat curry and chickpea curry from Olive Mae's Kitchen and I am DELIGHTED! Seriously the best goat curry I have ever eaten. The meat was falling off the bone and so so tasty. Thank you! 😁

Back up from London for a week to see family and this absolutely slapped. Love seeing Caribbean food in the local area. Affordable and authentic! Awesome food. Ordered patties, curry goat and jerk chicken with rice and peas. Great flavours and put a smile on my face thank you!

Nestled in Skelmanthorpe Community Centre, this Jamaican food pop up is a great addition to the village of Skelmanthorpe. Food is authentic and service is friendly and prompt. We had a nice chat about what different menus could be available in the future and will definitely be back to try. The food was spicy but still full of flavour and taste and I would recommend every item on the menu.

We have travelled to hebden bridge from bradford on numerous occasions to the food market just to buy the jerked chicken from olivea mae we absolutely recommend this food amazing amazing amazing the best we have had by far ,and the lady who serves us is so lovely thank you for your food a must try by everyone

I had the goat curry at Todmorden Battle of the bands at the meet market: I have to say it was absolutely spot on… not had one like that for a very long time. And both ladies that were there were lovely!
