Lovely staff and a lovely Sunday roast. Thebteam work hard to ensure great friendly service and they are gradually updating the interior for a better atmosphere. They have a great cake selection too.

My husband also ate here the day before with a friend for lunch and said the deals and sandwiches they had on a Saturday had been great.

The gardens in the summer are exceptionally lovely, Worth a visit!

The food in the cafe is good and the staff were helpful and friendly. My issue with the atmosphere is that the fume extraction is so poor we came out absolutely reeking of cooking. Hair and clothes all need a wash to get rid of it. Please sort it out!

From entering premises we were abruptly asked if we had booked, we said didn't know we had too as went 3 weeks previously as place was half full, same as this time. We were then told if we had come previous week we wouldn't have got in, which was totally irrelevant.

Wonderful food, excellent service with a good atmosphere. Had breakfast several times whilst visiting family and we were made most welcome. Catered for my wife's food issues without hesitation and made me poached eggs to die for.

Fantastic evening had by myself and 5 friends. Fish & chip Friday was amazing value for money. Great portion size not massively overpowering just right. The service was outstanding from all members of staff. Thank you for being the perfect hosts on such a busy night. We will be back.

Called in for lunch today. We had Ollie’s homemade pie, which had proper pastry like your Granny would have made! The fish and chips also really tasty, with crisp batter and a delicious homemade tartar sauce ! The service was attentive and friendly. The woodburner in this traditional pub keeping everyone warm and cosy. Finished the meal off with jam sponge and custard. Perfect !

Great lunch today at Ollie's. Creamy mushroom on ciabatta, bang bang cauliflower, ollie's special burger and chicken burger. All tasted good and very fresh. Great service and atmosphere. Will be back.
