We didn't know what to expect from Orchard House because there are only photographs from the exterior online.

The hostess is very kind and caring, she loves to tell you about Feckenham and her beautiful horses. The rooms are not everyone's style and frankly I had to get used to them myself but they certainly do have a kind of aesthetic! It's a very English country style house with a beautiful hunting lodge style dining room. The hostess makes a great breakfast and lights the fire for you. It's very atmospheric.

The surroundings are nice with great views.

The rooms are not en-suite and you share the bathroom with the family. We were not made aware of this when booking and were appalled as it is for us totally inappropriate. The breakfast was OK. But Phillipa recommended the local pub in Feckenham - the Rose and Crown - and the main course there was almost inedible. We would not recommend this B&B even though the location is excellent and it is a very old charming house. But the £100 cash paid on arrival for one night B&B is not good value at all.

Rooms are not en-suite and you share a bathroom with the family. Not good. Breakfast is OK but the food served in the Rose and Crown pub in the village was virtually inedible. Would not recommend this B&B.

Picturesque scenery, tranquil fields and a lovely owner who helped my very anxious dogs, Jett and Thor socialise and feel comfortable. The home steps back in time to the 16th century with many corners of hidden storries waiting for you to find them. There are also 2 stunning horses with unique and lovely personalities to engage with. Perfect place to be if you're a writer or just need time to replenish. Unforgettable experience.

We stayed here for one night last weekend. The location and views of the B&B are fantastic. We are a young couple of just over 30 years old. Pricilla and her Husband were absolutely lovely and their welcome made our stay that much more enjoyable. The breakfast was lovely and we even got fresh eggs to take home with us from the hens they keep! They have horses, 2 dogs and ,a lovely vintage car!The village in Feckenham is lovely (which is about a good 10mins walk but with the views this does not matter) with plenty of places to eat near by. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. May we thank you both for such a great stay and....the eggs were lovely! I would make the point that perhaps this B&B's rooms may not be decorated in a modern style for some tastes, as can be seen from the photos, but if this does not bother you then you will really enjoy your stay!

Beautiful house very quirky with great gardens and horses. It may not be to everyone's taste, but we loved it. Very comfortable beds slept well. Breakfast was lovely with fresh eggs and homemade bread and jams. Phillipa and Caroline were brilliant hosts. We checked out,but never left till 2pm as they allowed us to chill out in there garden. Hope we never outstayed our welcome Phillipa 🤗
Would definitely recommend it,
.

This review is long overdue but I stayed here two weeks last year. After a hideous experience at a nearby guesthouse, staying here was like going from rags to riches! The house is located on a beautiful setting on the edge or Redditch. The owners are concerned to offer an excellent stay and let me use their fridge and microwave. They made an amazing breakfast every day and made me feel very welcome. The room was always clean. I would highly recommend staying here - I was here on business but it would be gorgeous for leisure too.

Not a very impressive welcome. We had no sooner stepped through the door when she was asking us to pay up in full. Was then taken to our room and left. No explanation of where she would be should we need anything. None of the room were on suite as we had been told they were. The room was ok. Apart from the personal items hung in the wardrobe and in the draws. Oh and the ivy growing through the window. Tea and coffee facilities were poor too. Only 2 tea bags, sugar was a solid lump and the cups were way too small. 1 penguin biscuit was in the tin. Think we was supposed to share it. ||Breakfast not very impressive either. Fry up consisted of 1 very small sausage, a few scraps of bacon, a fried egg and some sort of fried slice of potato. We had to get up and make our own toast and had to get up to get our tea/coffee. We also had visitors throughout breakfast of her pet dogs. All in all not very impressed. Would not recommend to anyone.
