Very comfortable room with a balcony (great for airing off blistered feet!). Friendly host, good tip for food (Crown Inn over the road). A much needed comfy stopover after a long day. Breakfast was perfect for the day ahead, as was the packed lunch.

Comfortable BnB in a pretty village close to Chollerford. Great for walkers - with a boot warmer to dry our damp boots after a day walking the Hadrians Wall path. Lovely room and a warm welcome from Jayne. Great pub across the road. Good breakfast which set us up nicely for our next day of walking

This was an excellent place to stay during a walk of Hadrian’s wall. The room was comfortable and spacious, the shower warm and powerful, the host charming and friendly. There is a great pub just over the road for drinks and dinner, and the B&B offers a delicious breakfast with high quality produce in the morning. Thank you for looking after us!

We stayed at Orchard View whilst walking Hadrian's Wall Path. It is a short distance from the path so very convenient. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and well equipped. The pub across the road served excellent food. The breakfast was delicious. All of this was topped off by a lovely host. Highly recommended.

We arrived after a long days walking and met Jayne, who got us settled in to the huge upstairs twin room which has it’s own balcony area to sit and enjoy the late afternoon sunshine on. Lovely bathroom too with nice toiletries. Jayne kindly brought up a flask with fresh milk in for our drinks. We settled in quickly and walked over to the pub for dinner. Walkers will be glad to know this is only a minute away.|We gave our breakfast choices prior to going out. Breakfast was a nice affair with really good choices and after this Jayne ensured we were on the right track for Corbridge. Good place to stay.

We stayed here, whilst walking Hadrians wall. Room with Balcony fantastic, lovely hot water for soak after 7 mile walk. Evening meal at Crown Inn over the road delicious. Lovely breakfast and thankyou for the shortcut tip.

What a lovely host. Although the room was the smallest we stayed in over the week of walking the wall, each B & B had their own unique special qualities. Here, we were very grateful for the bath, having peppermint tea bags available for me, as not everyone did and I had exhausted my supply of ones brought from home. I was also delighted to have a choice of breakfasts which included porridge and guacamole, bacon and egg on toast. I was so full I almost rolled out of the door.
