We arrived shattered after moving house, but Kerry could not have been more welcoming. The house is absolutely stunning, immaculately clean and our room very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a delicious breakfast the following morning with lots of local produce. Can not recommend more highly and if we didn't now live in Stowell, we would be back!

We arrived at just after 10pm on the Friday of the August Bank Holiday Weekend. Greeted as we pulled up by Kerry and Tatty ( the cutest little poodle ever!) offered a glass of wine was instantly made to feel very at home. From the outset this was to be the new benchmark for B&B experiences- the house newly renovated oozing charm and considered decor. Our bed was super comfy, freshly pressed luxury sheets, coupled with fresh country air set in a peaceful environment meant that a relaxing weekend had been achieved by the Saturday morning. Breakfast was comprehensive, really tasty and Kerry was very accommodating of our dietary requirements very socially experienced - lovely people very honoured to be part of their authentic family life. We will return. Do not consider this to be a B&B it is more a home away from home. The best B&B we have ever stayed in. Thank you Kerry for being an amazing host.

My wife and I stayed for just one night on Saturday the 16th of July. We had decided to stay over for the next day's Sherborne Classic Car Event and although it was a last minute decision Kerry was able to fit us in.||Such a good decision too because it is a very lovely place and very well decorated. Our double room was very comfortable and quiet. Although our bathroom was opposite, because there were no other rooms attached it was as good as if not better than a typical ensuite because it was a full size bathroom.||Breakfast was excellent with a full range of alternatives, and situated in their large farmhouse kitchen diner with the lovely patio doors opening out to the garden.||Whilst it may be a little off the beaten track it was no problem to find with a decent OS map or a Sat Nav. If you are looking for a quiet country retreat then look no further it is excellent.||Nearby are very good pubs and the Kings Arms where we enjoyed a very good dinner.

My partner and I were looking for somewhere to stay for the bank holiday weekend as we were travelling down from Sussex for a wedding. We found Orchardleigh on Air B&B and were initial wowed by the photos, description and reviews. Needless to say we were not disappointed. Orchardleigh is an absolutely beautiful property, in a wonderful rural location. The house itself oozes style, space ad comfort. Kerry and her family were wonderful, they were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home within minutes. We were spoilt for choice at breakfast time and the food was delicious. I couldn't recommend this B&B anymore, it ticks all of the boxes.

If you are looking for a quiet rural spot then this B&B in the hamlet of Stowell is a good bet. Practically no traffic except for the occasional tractor or very few local cars. The only sounds are the mooing of cows, but then what else would anyone expect to hear in the country. || We stayed at Orchardleigh for three nights for a short break in a part of the world that we absolutely love. It is a few miles from the A303 and is a good base for touring the wonderful country side, with places like the coast, Cheddar and Salisbury in easy reach.|| You couldn't wish for a better host than Kerry who is so naturally friendly, welcoming and helpful and, yes, she does a jolly good breakfast too. Perhaps it goes without saying that the room like the rest of the house is very clean and comfortable,with nothing over fussy or pretentious. There is a nice well kept garden to sit in and the bottom line is that a stay here is wonderfully relaxing, and well worth a stay

Beautifully appointed B&B in a wonderful setting. Kerry is a perfect hostess and anticipated our every need. Kerry has an excellent knowledge of local attractions and willingly shares this with her guests. This B&B comes highly recommended and we will definitely return in the future.

We were in the area for a wedding and booked to stay here. It was a great find.||When we arrived, Kerry was out but had left us tea and cake which we enjoyed on the terrace.||The house itself is a lovely country cottage and a proper home.||Breakfast was a really good range of fruit, yoghurt, cereals, toast and a full English.||Tatty the dog is very cute.||The lift to pick up the car was greatly appreciated too!
