Lovely hotel, lovely staff, lovely location. However went for a valentine's night away and unfortunately there was a funeral wake being held in the main bar so felt awkward going for a drink there so left to go elsewhere. The night was awful as lots of doors being slammed throughout so not much sleep unfortunately. Was lovely going for a swim and using the health spa early the next day though. Sadly when checking out and leaving we discovered that my car had been damaged by another car whilst parked and there was no staff to help with getting information about how to track down the owner of the car as it was a weekend.

We celebrated a 70th here and it was perfect. From booking, planning to execution it was faultless. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Even to the small touches of birthday banners and balloons in the room. We used their DJ who was also great. A special thanks to Lenny on the bar who was a real star on the night. A great time had by all

Stayed her for 1 night on business (Mon 10th Mar) & it's safe to say it will be my only time. Other than the reception, bar, restaurant area, the rooms are like stepping back in time to 1980s. Very dated, plug sockets not suitable for anything, poor phone reception in rooms (EE) horrendous shower curtain in bathroom which was dirty, & who the chriat in 2025 has a shower curtain?
The gym was ok, the pool area, sauna, steam & changing rooms was filthy n smelt stale.

Overall a very poor experience, & i stay in hotels all over the UK 2-4 nights a week on business.

Think in future I will stick to the more popular named chains.

Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Free WiFi and good fridge in each room. Large TV and seating area in rooms.
Restaurant was OK, though a bit chilly.
Excellent breakfast buffets.

This hotel is very nice, i went there for a wake. They provided all the food and drink for everyone. Very friendly staff. all amenities were spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend
it for a wake again.

Excellent location just off the motorway. It can't be missed. Parking quite generous spaces offered. Less likely to encounter scratches and scraprs on ones vehicle. Perfect get away for my daughter who hasn't had break since she entered Year 9. Total destresser. Great space, excellent staff, professionals all round. Food tasty, breakfast menu has enough options for picky diners. Overall excellent place

Friendly welcome. Room very clean and lots of extras, eg tissues, nice pump Dove products, tea, coffee, etc. Additional paper cups 4 bathroom would have been nice. Breakfast staff were sp helpful and friendly. Loved the firmness of bed. Duvet and pillows wonderful. Staff from housekeeping team to management very friendly. Gym facilities outstanding, pool divine! So warm, public areas in there cleaned regularly. Lockers need a padlock fyi if using so take one along. Breakfast plentiful and lots of choice. Dinner was nice although I did request heating up my desert as luke warm. Overall very happy and definitely would return if there was a good offer. Only downside, two wakes in 2 days so bar area out of bounds and that's the way to garden. Felt we couldn't use this area both days.

Unfortunately i don't think we got the best experience of this hotel as there was a very big party going on which meant we couldn't get into the restaurant/ bar area for food.
When we tried to get room service nobody answered our calls so my husband had to go to reception to try to get us some dinner and it took over an hour to come and was barely warm.
The bed was very hard but the room was nice otherwise.
It was also nice to be able to use the pool etc in the morning to alleviate the aching from the solid mattress
