An absolutely lovely stay from start to finish! welcomed at the back gate by the owner and a very friendly dog. Shown to my garden room where there was tea and coffee facilities and a lovely home made short bread biscuit. the room was lovely and big with a sofa for further relaxing. the en suite shower was really modern and well laid out with the luxury shower gel and shampoo a lovely touch. the rooms cool on what was the warmest night in the uk so far and breakfast served with a smile was delightful. a real hidden Gem. Loved it i hope to come back.

One night stay on the upper floor enormous room with steps down to the en-suite shower room. Very pleased with everything - including the breakfast, which passed the sausage test with flying colours - and if I had a bacon test, it would've passed that too - crispy crackling, not limp, soggy rind that is de rigeur for hotel chain buffets. Large double bed and a wide quilt that you can get lost in. The pub is a few metres down the road and if you are a keen walker, you can get some hot tips and an O.S. Map if you ask nicely.

“Breakfast was fantastic! The flavors of the sausage, bacon and tomato were outstanding! The shower had very nice water flow and temperature. The upstairs room was large and comfortable and my tall husband fit in the bed without having a footboard to deal with. Helen was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, My husband needed to see a doctor during our trip and Helen helped us call the local surgeon, he got in that morning, got a prescription and we were on our way. It's so heartwarming to have a caring person helping you through difficulties - especially when traveling overseas. While my husband saw the doctor, I met the local church historian while taking pictures in the church yard. It was fascinating learning about the history (and it is posted on the back wall inside the church. It's a wonderful village and I highly recommend Over B&B to anyone! (My only worry is it may be full If I make it back to Cambridge). In summary we loved everything. The garden is beautiful too.”||Plan on spending a few days. It is a great place to stay to visit Cambridge. I HIGHLY recommend a visit to Ely Cathedral (Not just another cathedral in Europe - VERY impressive) and take a boat ride from St. Ives electric Riverboat. There is a lot of wildlife (birds) in the area and places to walk nearby. Over B&B is a great place to stay without the crowds and prices of Cambridge.

This is the second time we have stayed in this delightful, self contained studio flat, and we will definitely be coming back! We arrived shortly after storm Arwen, but the flat was as warm and cosy as ever. A truly lovely relaxing place to come home to at the end of the day. The bed is extremely comfortable and the bedding top quality. The settee is very comfortable and the wifi good enough for you to watch a film on a tablet. The kitchen area is a real bonus and we love the fact that we can make our own breakfasts and simple meals. The shower is also good. It can now be booked fully on line and is as covid secure as it's possible to get. Can't praise this place enough. The village is well worth a wander around as are many of the surrounding villages and, of course, its very close to Cambridge itself. Highly recommend for a very warm, easy, safe, comfortable and cosy stay

I stayed here prior to a visit to an early business visit to Cambridge, as a cheaper alternative to the usual chain hotels and was so pleased with the decision. It's about a 20 minute drive from the city.||Spacious room with a lovely bed plus sofa on the first floor, nice en suite, all spotless.||5 star breakfast in the morning, way better than most hotels provide, in a lovely garden room setting. Charming hostess, very highly recommended.

I only wish we had gone during the summer, when the courtyard gardens would be in full blossom. Breakfast was lovely and Helens solarium was bright and cheery. Our spacious, clean, and very modern room had its private outside entrance through the garden. Sadly, only one overnight was needed.

A little disconcerting on arrival as the driveway & garden area by the entrance to the property is so neglected giving the impression that the whole place has been forgotten about.
However once inside the unit all is just right. Very comfortable accommodation for our weeks stay with everything in place.

September is spider season so we had some extra guests already in situe when we arrived which we smartly evicted.

We stayed at the Over Bed and Breakfast for one night before visiting Cambridge. The Bed and Breakfast was absolutely amazing: the rooms (spacious with modern bathrooms), the location (remote and peaceful was what we were looking for), the breakfast (which was absolutely amazing and locally sourced) and the hostess (so friendly and helpful, thank you for your advice if you read this) all contributed to an amazing stay. I will recommend and I hope I can come back soon!
